LXX Concordance for ἐπορεύετο

Now Isaac was returning from Beer-lahai-roi,[fn] for he was living in the Negev region.

When the donkey saw the angel of the LORD standing on the path with a drawn sword in his hand, she turned off the path and went into the field. So Balaam hit her to return her to the path.

When the priests carrying the ark of the LORD's covenant came up from the middle of the Jordan, and their feet[fn] stepped out on solid ground, the water of the Jordan resumed its course, flowing over all the banks as before.

By contrast, the boy Samuel grew in stature and in favor with the LORD and with people.

He called out and told the king.

The king said, “If he's alone, he bears good news.”

As the first runner came closer,

This led to sin; the people walked in procession before one of the calves all the way to Dan.[fn]

In a little while, the sky grew dark with clouds and wind, and there was a downpour. So Ahab got in his chariot and went to Jezreel.

When Ahab heard these words, he tore his clothes, put sackcloth over his body, and fasted. He lay down in sackcloth and walked around subdued.

The second thanksgiving procession went to the left, and I followed it with half the people along the top of the wall, past the Tower of the Ovens to the Broad Wall,

Keep your feet from going bare

and your throat from thirst.

But you say, “It's hopeless;

I love strangers,

and I will continue to follow them.”

This is what the prophet Jeremiah commanded Seraiah son of Neriah son of Mahseiah, the quartermaster, when he went to Babylon with King Zedekiah of Judah in the fourth year of Zedekiah's reign.

Each creature went straight ahead. Wherever the Spirit[fn] wanted to go, they went without turning as they moved.

“But as for those whose hearts pursue their desire for abhorrent acts and detestable practices, I will bring their conduct down on their own heads.” This is the declaration of the Lord GOD.

And I will punish her for the days of the Baals,

to which she burned incense.

She put on her rings and her jewelry

and followed her lovers,

but she forgot me.

This is the LORD's declaration.

So they said to him, “What should we do to you so that the sea will calm down for us? ” For the sea was getting worse and worse.

Nevertheless, the men rowed hard to get back to dry land, but they couldn't because the sea was raging against them more and more.
