Unchecked Copy BoxMat 25:34 - “Then the King will say to those on His right hand, ‘Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:
Unchecked Copy BoxMat 25:41 - “Then He will also say to those on the left hand, ‘Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels:
Unchecked Copy BoxMat 26:1 - Now it came to pass, when Jesus had finished all these sayings, that He said to His disciples,
Unchecked Copy BoxMat 26:7 - a woman came to Him having an alabaster flask of very costly fragrant oil, and she poured it on His head as He sat at the table.
Unchecked Copy BoxMat 26:8 - But when His disciples saw it, they were indignant, saying, “Why this waste?
Unchecked Copy BoxMat 26:24 - “The Son of Man indeed goes just as it is written of Him, but woe to that man by whom the Son of Man is betrayed! It would have been good for that man if he had not been born.”
Unchecked Copy BoxMat 26:39 - He went a little farther and fell on His face, and prayed, saying, “O My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as You will.
Unchecked Copy BoxMat 26:45 - Then He came to His disciples and said to them, “Are you still sleeping and resting? Behold, the hour is at hand, and the Son of Man is being betrayed into the hands of sinners.
Unchecked Copy BoxMat 26:47 - And while He was still speaking, behold, Judas, one of the twelve, with a great multitude with swords and clubs, came from the chief priests and elders of the people.
Unchecked Copy BoxMat 26:65 - Then the high priest tore his clothes, saying, “He has spoken blasphemy! What further need do we have of witnesses? Look, now you have heard His blasphemy!
Unchecked Copy BoxMat 26:67 - Then they spat in His face and beat Him; and others struck Him with the palms of their hands,
Unchecked Copy BoxMat 27:19 - While he was sitting on the judgment seat, his wife sent to him, saying, “Have nothing to do with that just Man, for I have suffered many things today in a dream because of Him.”
Unchecked Copy BoxMat 27:25 - And all the people answered and said, “His blood be on us and on our children.”
Unchecked Copy BoxMat 27:29 - When they had twisted a crown of thorns, they put it on His head, and a reed in His right hand. And they bowed the knee before Him and mocked Him, saying, “Hail, King of the Jews!”
Unchecked Copy BoxMat 27:30 - Then they spat on Him, and took the reed and struck Him on the head.
Unchecked Copy BoxMat 27:31 - And when they had mocked Him, they took the robe off Him, put His own clothes on Him, and led Him away to be crucified.
Unchecked Copy BoxMat 27:32 - Now as they came out, they found a man of Cyrene, Simon by name. Him they compelled to bear His cross.
Unchecked Copy BoxMat 27:35 - Then they crucified Him, and divided His garments, casting lots,[fn] that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet:

“They divided My garments among them,
And for My clothing they cast lots.”
[fn]
Unchecked Copy BoxMat 27:37 - And they put up over His head the accusation written against Him:

THIS IS JESUS THE KING OF THE JEWS.

Unchecked Copy BoxMat 27:53 - and coming out of the graves after His resurrection, they went into the holy city and appeared to many.
Unchecked Copy BoxMat 27:54 - So when the centurion and those with him, who were guarding Jesus, saw the earthquake and the things that had happened, they feared greatly, saying, “Truly this was the Son of God!”
Unchecked Copy BoxMat 27:60 - and laid it in his new tomb which he had hewn out of the rock; and he rolled a large stone against the door of the tomb, and departed.
Unchecked Copy BoxMat 27:64 - “Therefore command that the tomb be made secure until the third day, lest His disciples come by night[fn] and steal Him away, and say to the people, ‘He has risen from the dead.' So the last deception will be worse than the first.”
Unchecked Copy BoxMat 28:2 - And behold, there was a great earthquake; for an angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door,[fn] and sat on it.
Unchecked Copy BoxMat 28:3 - His countenance was like lightning, and his clothing as white as snow.
Unchecked Copy BoxMat 28:4 - And the guards shook for fear of him, and became like dead men.
Unchecked Copy BoxMat 28:7 - “And go quickly and tell His disciples that He is risen from the dead, and indeed He is going before you into Galilee; there you will see Him. Behold, I have told you.”
Unchecked Copy BoxMat 28:8 - So they went out quickly from the tomb with fear and great joy, and ran to bring His disciples word.
Unchecked Copy BoxMat 28:9 - And as they went to tell His disciples,[fn] behold, Jesus met them, saying, “Rejoice!” So they came and held Him by the feet and worshiped Him.
Unchecked Copy BoxMat 28:13 - saying, “Tell them, ‘His disciples came at night and stole Him away while we slept.'
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 1:3 - “The voice of one crying in the wilderness:
‘Prepare the way of the LORD;
Make His paths straight.' ”
[fn]
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 1:5 - Then all the land of Judea, and those from Jerusalem, went out to him and were all baptized by him in the Jordan River, confessing their sins.
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 1:6 - Now John was clothed with camel's hair and with a leather belt around his waist, and he ate locusts and wild honey.
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 1:7 - And he preached, saying, “There comes One after me who is mightier than I, whose sandal strap I am not worthy to stoop down and loose.
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 1:16 - And as He walked by the Sea of Galilee, He saw Simon and Andrew his brother casting a net into the sea; for they were fishermen.
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 1:19 - When He had gone a little farther from there, He saw James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother, who also were in the boat mending their nets.
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 1:20 - And immediately He called them, and they left their father Zebedee in the boat with the hired servants, and went after Him.
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 1:22 - And they were astonished at His teaching, for He taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes.
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 1:25 - But Jesus rebuked him, saying, “Be quiet, and come out of him!”
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 1:26 - And when the unclean spirit had convulsed him and cried out with a loud voice, he came out of him.
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 1:28 - And immediately His fame spread throughout all the region around Galilee.
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 1:36 - And Simon and those who were with Him searched for Him.
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 1:41 - Then Jesus, moved with compassion, stretched out His hand and touched him, and said to him, “I am willing; be cleansed.”
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 1:42 - As soon as He had spoken, immediately the leprosy left him, and he was cleansed.
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 2:8 - But immediately, when Jesus perceived in His spirit that they reasoned thus within themselves, He said to them, “Why do you reason about these things in your hearts?
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 2:15 - Now it happened, as He was dining in Levi's house, that many tax collectors and sinners also sat together with Jesus and His disciples; for there were many, and they followed Him.
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 2:16 - And when the scribes and[fn] Pharisees saw Him eating with the tax collectors and sinners, they said to His disciples, “How is it that He eats and drinks with tax collectors and sinners?”
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 2:23 - Now it happened that He went through the grainfields on the Sabbath; and as they went His disciples began to pluck the heads of grain.
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 2:25 - But He said to them, “Have you never read what David did when he was in need and hungry, he and those with him:
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 3:2 - So they watched Him closely, whether He would heal him on the Sabbath, so that they might accuse Him.
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 3:5 - And when He had looked around at them with anger, being grieved by the hardness of their hearts, He said to the man, “Stretch out your hand.” And he stretched it out, and his hand was restored as whole as the other.[fn]
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 3:6 - Then the Pharisees went out and immediately plotted with the Herodians against Him, how they might destroy Him.
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 3:7 - But Jesus withdrew with His disciples to the sea. And a great multitude from Galilee followed Him, and from Judea
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 3:9 - So He told His disciples that a small boat should be kept ready for Him because of the multitude, lest they should crush Him.
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 3:10 - For He healed many, so that as many as had afflictions pressed about Him to touch Him.
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 3:14 - Then He appointed twelve,[fn] that they might be with Him and that He might send them out to preach,
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 3:21 - But when His own people heard about this, they went out to lay hold of Him, for they said, “He is out of His mind.”
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 3:27 - “No one can enter a strong man's house and plunder his goods, unless he first binds the strong man. And then he will plunder his house.
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 3:31 - Then His brothers and His mother came, and standing outside they sent to Him, calling Him.
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 4:2 - Then He taught them many things by parables, and said to them in His teaching:
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 4:25 - “For whoever has, to him more will be given; but whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken away from him.”
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 4:32 - “but when it is sown, it grows up and becomes greater than all herbs, and shoots out large branches, so that the birds of the air may nest under its shade.”
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 4:34 - But without a parable He did not speak to them. And when they were alone, He explained all things to His disciples.
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 4:36 - Now when they had left the multitude, they took Him along in the boat as He was. And other little boats were also with Him.
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 5:4 - because he had often been bound with shackles and chains. And the chains had been pulled apart by him, and the shackles broken in pieces; neither could anyone tame him.
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 5:18 - And when He got into the boat, he who had been demon-possessed begged Him that he might be with Him.
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 5:22 - And behold, one of the rulers of the synagogue came, Jairus by name. And when he saw Him, he fell at His feet
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 5:24 - So Jesus went with him, and a great multitude followed Him and thronged Him.
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 5:27 - When she heard about Jesus, she came behind Him in the crowd and touched His garment.
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 5:28 - For she said, “If only I may touch His clothes, I shall be made well.”
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 5:30 - And Jesus, immediately knowing in Himself that power had gone out of Him, turned around in the crowd and said, “Who touched My clothes?”
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 5:31 - But His disciples said to Him, “You see the multitude thronging You, and You say, ‘Who touched Me?' ”
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 5:35 - While He was still speaking, some came from the ruler of the synagogue's house who said, “Your daughter is dead. Why trouble the Teacher any further?”
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 5:40 - And they ridiculed Him. But when He had put them all outside, He took the father and the mother of the child, and those who were with Him, and entered where the child was lying.
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 6:1 - Then He went out from there and came to His own country, and His disciples followed Him.
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 6:2 - And when the Sabbath had come, He began to teach in the synagogue. And many hearing Him were astonished, saying, “Where did this Man get these things? And what wisdom is this which is given to Him, that such mighty works are performed by His hands!
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 6:3 - “Is this not the carpenter, the Son of Mary, and brother of James, Joses, Judas, and Simon? And are not His sisters here with us?” So they were offended at Him.
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 6:4 - But Jesus said to them, “A prophet is not without honor except in his own country, among his own relatives, and in his own house.”
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 6:14 - Now King Herod heard of Him, for His name had become well known. And he said, “John the Baptist is risen from the dead, and therefore these powers are at work in him.”
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 6:17 - For Herod himself had sent and laid hold of John, and bound him in prison for the sake of Herodias, his brother Philip's wife; for he had married her.
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 6:20 - for Herod feared John, knowing that he was a just and holy man, and he protected him. And when he heard him, he did many things, and heard him gladly.
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 6:21 - Then an opportune day came when Herod on his birthday gave a feast for his nobles, the high officers, and the chief men of Galilee.
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 6:27 - Immediately the king sent an executioner and commanded his head to be brought. And he went and beheaded him in prison,
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 6:28 - brought his head on a platter, and gave it to the girl; and the girl gave it to her mother.
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 6:29 - When his disciples heard of it, they came and took away his corpse and laid it in a tomb.
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 6:35 - When the day was now far spent, His disciples came to Him and said, “This is a deserted place, and already the hour is late.
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 6:41 - And when He had taken the five loaves and the two fish, He looked up to heaven, blessed and broke the loaves, and gave them to His disciples to set before them; and the two fish He divided among them all.
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 6:45 - Immediately He made His disciples get into the boat and go before Him to the other side, to Bethsaida, while He sent the multitude away.
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 6:56 - Wherever He entered, into villages, cities, or the country, they laid the sick in the marketplaces, and begged Him that they might just touch the hem of His garment. And as many as touched Him were made well.
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 7:2 - Now when[fn] they saw some of His disciples eat bread with defiled, that is, with unwashed hands, they found fault.
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 7:12 - “then you no longer let him do anything for his father or his mother,
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 7:15 - “There is nothing that enters a man from outside which can defile him; but the things which come out of him, those are the things that defile a man.
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 7:17 - When He had entered a house away from the crowd, His disciples asked Him concerning the parable.
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 7:19 - “because it does not enter his heart but his stomach, and is eliminated, thus purifying all foods?”[fn]
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 7:25 - For a woman whose young daughter had an unclean spirit heard about Him, and she came and fell at His feet.
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 7:33 - And He took him aside from the multitude, and put His fingers in his ears, and He spat and touched his tongue.
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 7:35 - Immediately his ears were opened, and the impediment of his tongue was loosed, and he spoke plainly.
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 8:1 - In those days, the multitude being very great and having nothing to eat, Jesus called His disciples to Him and said to them,
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 8:4 - Then His disciples answered Him, “How can one satisfy these people with bread here in the wilderness?”
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 8:6 - So He commanded the multitude to sit down on the ground. And He took the seven loaves and gave thanks, broke them and gave them to His disciples to set before them; and they set them before the multitude.
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 8:10 - immediately got into the boat with His disciples, and came to the region of Dalmanutha.
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 8:11 - Then the Pharisees came out and began to dispute with Him, seeking from Him a sign from heaven, testing Him.
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 8:12 - But He sighed deeply in His spirit, and said, “Why does this generation seek a sign? Assuredly, I say to you, no sign shall be given to this generation.”
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 8:22 - Then He came to Bethsaida; and they brought a blind man to Him, and begged Him to touch him.
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 8:23 - So He took the blind man by the hand and led him out of the town. And when He had spit on his eyes and put His hands on him, He asked him if he saw anything.
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 8:25 - Then He put His hands on his eyes again and made him look up. And he was restored and saw everyone clearly.
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 8:26 - Then He sent him away to his house, saying, “Neither go into the town, nor tell anyone in the town.”[fn]
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 8:27 - Now Jesus and His disciples went out to the towns of Caesarea Philippi; and on the road He asked His disciples, saying to them, “Who do men say that I am?”
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 8:30 - Then He strictly warned them that they should tell no one about Him.
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 8:33 - But when He had turned around and looked at His disciples, He rebuked Peter, saying, “Get behind Me, Satan! For you are not mindful of the things of God, but the things of men.”
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 8:34 - When He had called the people to Himself, with His disciples also, He said to them, “Whoever desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me.
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 8:35 - “For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake and the gospel's will save it.
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 8:36 - “For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul?
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 8:37 - “Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 8:38 - “For whoever is ashamed of Me and My words in this adulterous and sinful generation, of him the Son of Man also will be ashamed when He comes in the glory of His Father with the holy angels.”
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 9:3 - His clothes became shining, exceedingly white, like snow, such as no launderer on earth can whiten them.
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 9:7 - And a cloud came and overshadowed them; and a voice came out of the cloud, saying, “This is My beloved Son. Hear Him!”
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 9:18 - “And wherever it seizes him, it throws him down; he foams at the mouth, gnashes his teeth, and becomes rigid. So I spoke to Your disciples, that they should cast it out, but they could not.”
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 9:21 - So He asked his father, “How long has this been happening to him?” And he said, “From childhood.
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 9:25 - When Jesus saw that the people came running together, He rebuked the unclean spirit, saying to it: “Deaf and dumb spirit, I command you, come out of him and enter him no more!”
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 9:28 - And when He had come into the house, His disciples asked Him privately, “Why could we not cast it out?”
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 9:31 - For He taught His disciples and said to them, “The Son of Man is being betrayed into the hands of men, and they will kill Him. And after He is killed, He will rise the third day.”
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 9:41 - “For whoever gives you a cup of water to drink in My name, because you belong to Christ, assuredly, I say to you, he will by no means lose his reward.
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 9:42 - “But whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to stumble, it would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were thrown into the sea.
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 10:7 - ‘For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife,
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 10:10 - In the house His disciples also asked Him again about the same matter.
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 10:11 - So He said to them, “Whoever divorces his wife and marries another commits adultery against her.
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 10:17 - Now as He was going out on the road, one came running, knelt before Him, and asked Him, “Good Teacher, what shall I do that I may inherit eternal life?”
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 10:23 - Then Jesus looked around and said to His disciples, “How hard it is for those who have riches to enter the kingdom of God!”
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 10:24 - And the disciples were astonished at His words. But Jesus answered again and said to them, “Children, how hard it is for those who trust in riches[fn] to enter the kingdom of God!
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 10:45 - “For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.”
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 10:46 - Now they came to Jericho. As He went out of Jericho with His disciples and a great multitude, blind Bartimaeus, the son of Timaeus, sat by the road begging.
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 10:50 - And throwing aside his garment, he rose and came to Jesus.
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 11:1 - Now when they drew near Jerusalem, to Bethphage[fn] and Bethany, at the Mount of Olives, He sent two of His disciples;
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 11:3 - “And if anyone says to you, ‘Why are you doing this?' say, ‘The Lord has need of it,' and immediately he will send it here.”
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 11:14 - In response Jesus said to it, “Let no one eat fruit from you ever again.” And His disciples heard it.
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 11:18 - And the scribes and chief priests heard it and sought how they might destroy Him; for they feared Him, because all the people were astonished at His teaching.
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 11:23 - “For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 11:27 - Then they came again to Jerusalem. And as He was walking in the temple, the chief priests, the scribes, and the elders came to Him.
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 12:6 - “Therefore still having one son, his beloved, he also sent him to them last, saying, ‘They will respect my son.'
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 12:19 - “Teacher, Moses wrote to us that if a man's brother dies, and leaves his wife behind, and leaves no children, his brother should take his wife and raise up offspring for his brother.
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 12:32 - So the scribe said to Him, “Well said, Teacher. You have spoken the truth, for there is one God, and there is no other but He.
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 12:37 - “Therefore David himself calls Him ‘Lord'; how is He then his Son?” And the common people heard Him gladly.
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 12:38 - Then He said to them in His teaching, “Beware of the scribes, who desire to go around in long robes, love greetings in the marketplaces,
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 12:43 - So He called His disciples to Himself and said to them, “Assuredly, I say to you that this poor widow has put in more than all those who have given to the treasury;
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 13:1 - Then as He went out of the temple, one of His disciples said to Him, “Teacher, see what manner of stones and what buildings are here!
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 13:3 - Now as He sat on the Mount of Olives opposite the temple, Peter, James, John, and Andrew asked Him privately,
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 13:15 - “Let him who is on the housetop not go down into the house, nor enter to take anything out of his house.
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 13:16 - “And let him who is in the field not go back to get his clothes.
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 13:27 - “And then He will send His angels, and gather together His elect from the four winds, from the farthest part of earth to the farthest part of heaven.
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 13:34 - It is like a man going to a far country, who left his house and gave authority to his servants, and to each his work, and commanded the doorkeeper to watch.
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 14:3 - And being in Bethany at the house of Simon the leper, as He sat at the table, a woman came having an alabaster flask of very costly oil of spikenard. Then she broke the flask and poured it on His head.
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 14:12 - Now on the first day of Unleavened Bread, when they killed the Passover lamb, His disciples said to Him, “Where do You want us to go and prepare, that You may eat the Passover?”
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 14:13 - And He sent out two of His disciples and said to them, “Go into the city, and a man will meet you carrying a pitcher of water; follow him.
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 14:16 - So His disciples went out, and came into the city, and found it just as He had said to them; and they prepared the Passover.
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 14:21 - “The Son of Man indeed goes just as it is written of Him, but woe to that man by whom the Son of Man is betrayed! It would have been good for that man if he had never been born.”
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 14:32 - Then they came to a place which was named Gethsemane; and He said to His disciples, “Sit here while I pray.”
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 14:35 - He went a little farther, and fell on the ground, and prayed that if it were possible, the hour might pass from Him.
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 14:43 - And immediately, while He was still speaking, Judas, one of the twelve, with a great multitude with swords and clubs, came from the chief priests and the scribes and the elders.
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 14:47 - And one of those who stood by drew his sword and struck the servant of the high priest, and cut off his ear.
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 14:56 - For many bore false witness against Him, but their testimonies did not agree.
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 14:57 - Then some rose up and bore false witness against Him, saying,
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 14:58 - “We heard Him say, ‘I will destroy this temple made with hands, and within three days I will build another made without hands.' ”
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 14:63 - Then the high priest tore his clothes and said, “What further need do we have of witnesses?
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 14:65 - Then some began to spit on Him, and to blindfold Him, and to beat Him, and to say to Him, “Prophesy!” And the officers struck Him with the palms of their hands.[fn]
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 15:3 - And the chief priests accused Him of many things, but He answered nothing.
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 15:19 - Then they struck Him on the head with a reed and spat on Him; and bowing the knee, they worshiped Him.
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 15:21 - Then they compelled a certain man, Simon a Cyrenian, the father of Alexander and Rufus, as he was coming out of the country and passing by, to bear His cross.
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 15:24 - And when they crucified Him, they divided His garments, casting lots for them to determine what every man should take.
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 15:26 - And the inscription of His accusation was written above:

THE KING OF THE JEWS.
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 15:27 - With Him they also crucified two robbers, one on His right and the other on His left.
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 15:39 - So when the centurion, who stood opposite Him, saw that He cried out like this and breathed His last,[fn] he said, “Truly this Man was the Son of God!”
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 16:7 - “But go, tell His disciples—and Peter—that He is going before you into Galilee; there you will see Him, as He said to you.”
Unchecked Copy BoxMar 16:10 - She went and told those who had been with Him, as they mourned and wept.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 1:5 - There was in the days of Herod, the king of Judea, a certain priest named Zacharias, of the division of Abijah. His wife was of the daughters of Aaron, and her name was Elizabeth.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 1:8 - So it was, that while he was serving as priest before God in the order of his division,
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 1:13 - But the angel said to him, “Do not be afraid, Zacharias, for your prayer is heard; and your wife Elizabeth will bear you a son, and you shall call his name John.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 1:14 - “And you will have joy and gladness, and many will rejoice at his birth.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 1:15 - “For he will be great in the sight of the Lord, and shall drink neither wine nor strong drink. He will also be filled with the Holy Spirit, even from his mother's womb.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 1:17 - “He will also go before Him in the spirit and power of Elijah, ‘to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children,'[fn] and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just, to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.”
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 1:23 - So it was, as soon as the days of his service were completed, that he departed to his own house.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 1:24 - Now after those days his wife Elizabeth conceived; and she hid herself five months, saying,
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 1:29 - But when she saw him,[fn] she was troubled at his saying, and considered what manner of greeting this was.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 1:31 - “And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bring forth a Son, and shall call His name JESUS.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 1:32 - “He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Highest; and the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 1:33 - “And He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and of His kingdom there will be no end.”
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 1:48 - For He has regarded the lowly state of His maidservant;
For behold, henceforth all generations will call me blessed.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 1:49 - For He who is mighty has done great things for me,
And holy is His name.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 1:50 - And His mercy is on those who fear Him
From generation to generation.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 1:51 - He has shown strength with His arm;
He has scattered the proud in the imagination of their hearts.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 1:54 - He has helped His servant Israel,
In remembrance of His mercy,
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 1:55 - As He spoke to our fathers,
To Abraham and to his seed forever.”
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 1:58 - When her neighbors and relatives heard how the Lord had shown great mercy to her, they rejoiced with her.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 1:59 - So it was, on the eighth day, that they came to circumcise the child; and they would have called him by the name of his father, Zacharias.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 1:60 - His mother answered and said, “No; he shall be called John.”
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 1:62 - So they made signs to his father—what he would have him called.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 1:63 - And he asked for a writing tablet, and wrote, saying, “His name is John.” So they all marveled.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 1:64 - Immediately his mouth was opened and his tongue loosed, and he spoke, praising God.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 1:66 - And all those who heard them kept them in their hearts, saying, “What kind of child will this be?” And the hand of the Lord was with him.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 1:67 - Now his father Zacharias was filled with the Holy Spirit, and prophesied, saying:
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 1:68 - “Blessed is the Lord God of Israel,
For He has visited and redeemed His people,
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 1:69 - And has raised up a horn of salvation for us
In the house of His servant David,
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 1:70 - As He spoke by the mouth of His holy prophets,
Who have been since the world began,
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 1:72 - To perform the mercy promised to our fathers
And to remember His holy covenant,
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 1:75 - In holiness and righteousness before Him all the days of our life.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 1:76 - “And you, child, will be called the prophet of the Highest;
For you will go before the face of the Lord to prepare His ways,
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 1:77 - To give knowledge of salvation to His people
By the remission of their sins,
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 1:80 - So the child grew and became strong in spirit, and was in the deserts till the day of his manifestation to Israel.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 2:21 - And when eight days were completed for the circumcision of the Child,[fn] His name was called JESUS, the name given by the angel before He was conceived in the womb.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 2:27 - So he came by the Spirit into the temple. And when the parents brought in the Child Jesus, to do for Him according to the custom of the law,
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 2:28 - he took Him up in his arms and blessed God and said:
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 2:33 - And Joseph and His mother[fn] marveled at those things which were spoken of Him.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 2:34 - Then Simeon blessed them, and said to Mary His mother, “Behold, this Child is destined for the fall and rising of many in Israel, and for a sign which will be spoken against
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 2:38 - And coming in that instant she gave thanks to the Lord,[fn] and spoke of Him to all those who looked for redemption in Jerusalem.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 2:41 - His parents went to Jerusalem every year at the Feast of the Passover.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 2:43 - When they had finished the days, as they returned, the Boy Jesus lingered behind in Jerusalem. And Joseph and His mother[fn] did not know it;
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 2:47 - And all who heard Him were astonished at His understanding and answers.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 2:48 - So when they saw Him, they were amazed; and His mother said to Him, “Son, why have You done this to us? Look, Your father and I have sought You anxiously.”
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 2:51 - Then He went down with them and came to Nazareth, and was subject to them, but His mother kept all these things in her heart.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 3:1 - Now in the fifteenth year of the reign of Tiberius Caesar, Pontius Pilate being governor of Judea, Herod being tetrarch of Galilee, his brother Philip tetrarch of Iturea and the region of Trachonitis, and Lysanias tetrarch of Abilene,
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 3:4 - as it is written in the book of the words of Isaiah the prophet, saying:

“The voice of one crying in the wilderness:
‘Prepare the way of the LORD;
Make His paths straight.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 3:7 - Then he said to the multitudes that came out to be baptized by him, “Brood of vipers! Who warned you to flee from the wrath to come?
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 3:16 - John answered, saying to all, “I indeed baptize you with water; but One mightier than I is coming, whose sandal strap I am not worthy to loose. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 3:17 - “His winnowing fan is in His hand, and He will thoroughly clean out His threshing floor, and gather the wheat into His barn; but the chaff He will burn with unquenchable fire.”
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 3:19 - But Herod the tetrarch, being rebuked by him concerning Herodias, his brother Philip's wife,[fn] and for all the evils which Herod had done,
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 4:10 - “For it is written:

‘He shall give His angels charge over you,
To keep you,'

Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 4:13 - Now when the devil had ended every temptation, he departed from Him until an opportune time.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 4:14 - Then Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit to Galilee, and news of Him went out through all the surrounding region.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 4:22 - So all bore witness to Him, and marveled at the gracious words which proceeded out of His mouth. And they said, “Is this not Joseph's son?”
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 4:24 - Then He said, “Assuredly, I say to you, no prophet is accepted in his own country.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 4:32 - And they were astonished at His teaching, for His word was with authority.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 4:35 - But Jesus rebuked him, saying, “Be quiet, and come out of him!” And when the demon had thrown him in their midst, it came out of him and did not hurt him.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 4:37 - And the report about Him went out into every place in the surrounding region.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 4:42 - Now when it was day, He departed and went into a deserted place. And the crowd sought Him and came to Him, and tried to keep Him from leaving them;
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 5:12 - And it happened when He was in a certain city, that behold, a man who was full of leprosy saw Jesus; and he fell on his face and implored Him, saying, “Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean.”
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 5:13 - Then He put out His hand and touched him, saying, “I am willing; be cleansed.” Immediately the leprosy left him.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 5:15 - However, the report went around concerning Him all the more; and great multitudes came together to hear, and to be healed by Him of their infirmities.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 5:18 - Then behold, men brought on a bed a man who was paralyzed, whom they sought to bring in and lay before Him.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 5:25 - Immediately he rose up before them, took up what he had been lying on, and departed to his own house, glorifying God.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 5:29 - Then Levi gave Him a great feast in his own house. And there were a great number of tax collectors and others who sat down with them.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 5:30 - And their scribes and the Pharisees[fn] complained against His disciples, saying, “Why do You eat and drink with tax collectors and sinners?”
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 6:1 - Now it happened on the second Sabbath after the first[fn] that He went through the grainfields. And His disciples plucked the heads of grain and ate them, rubbing them in their hands.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 6:3 - But Jesus answering them said, “Have you not even read this, what David did when he was hungry, he and those who were with him:
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 6:4 - “how he went into the house of God, took and ate the showbread, and also gave some to those with him, which is not lawful for any but the priests to eat?”
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 6:6 - Now it happened on another Sabbath, also, that He entered the synagogue and taught. And a man was there whose right hand was withered.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 6:7 - So the scribes and Pharisees watched Him closely, whether He would heal on the Sabbath, that they might find an accusation against Him.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 6:10 - And when He had looked around at them all, He said to the man,[fn] “Stretch out your hand.” And he did so, and his hand was restored as whole as the other.[fn]
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 6:13 - And when it was day, He called His disciples to Himself; and from them He chose twelve whom He also named apostles:
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 6:14 - Simon, whom He also named Peter, and Andrew his brother; James and John; Philip and Bartholomew;
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 6:17 - And He came down with them and stood on a level place with a crowd of His disciples and a great multitude of people from all Judea and Jerusalem, and from the seacoast of Tyre and Sidon, who came to hear Him and be healed of their diseases,
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 6:19 - And the whole multitude sought to touch Him, for power went out from Him and healed them all.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 6:20 - Then He lifted up His eyes toward His disciples, and said:
“Blessed are you poor,
For yours is the kingdom of God.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 6:40 - “A disciple is not above his teacher, but everyone who is perfectly trained will be like his teacher.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 6:45 - “A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart[fn] brings forth evil. For out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 7:1 - Now when He concluded all His sayings in the hearing of the people, He entered Capernaum.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 7:3 - So when he heard about Jesus, he sent elders of the Jews to Him, pleading with Him to come and heal his servant.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 7:6 - Then Jesus went with them. And when He was already not far from the house, the centurion sent friends to Him, saying to Him, “Lord, do not trouble Yourself, for I am not worthy that You should enter under my roof.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 7:11 - Now it happened, the day after, that He went into a city called Nain; and many of His disciples went with Him, and a large crowd.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 7:12 - And when He came near the gate of the city, behold, a dead man was being carried out, the only son of his mother; and she was a widow. And a large crowd from the city was with her.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 7:15 - So he who was dead sat up and began to speak. And He presented him to his mother.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 7:16 - Then fear came upon all, and they glorified God, saying, “A great prophet has risen up among us”; and, “God has visited His people.”
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 7:17 - And this report about Him went throughout all Judea and all the surrounding region.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 7:18 - Then the disciples of John reported to him concerning all these things.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 7:19 - And John, calling two of his disciples to him, sent them to Jesus,[fn] saying, “Are You the Coming One, or do we look for another?”
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 7:28 - “For I say to you, among those born of women there is not a greater prophet than John the Baptist;[fn] but he who is least in the kingdom of God is greater than he.”
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 7:30 - But the Pharisees and lawyers rejected the will of God for themselves, not having been baptized by him.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 7:36 - Then one of the Pharisees asked Him to eat with him. And He went to the Pharisee's house, and sat down to eat.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 7:38 - and stood at His feet behind Him weeping; and she began to wash His feet with her tears, and wiped them with the hair of her head; and she kissed His feet and anointed them with the fragrant oil.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 7:39 - Now when the Pharisee who had invited Him saw this, he spoke to himself, saying, “This Man, if He were a prophet, would know who and what manner of woman this is who is touching Him, for she is a sinner.”
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 8:5 - “A sower went out to sow his seed. And as he sowed, some fell by the wayside; and it was trampled down, and the birds of the air devoured it.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 8:9 - Then His disciples asked Him, saying, “What does this parable mean?”
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 8:18 - “Therefore take heed how you hear. For whoever has, to him more will be given; and whoever does not have, even what he seems to have will be taken from him.”
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 8:19 - Then His mother and brothers came to Him, and could not approach Him because of the crowd.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 8:22 - Now it happened, on a certain day, that He got into a boat with His disciples. And He said to them, “Let us cross over to the other side of the lake.” And they launched out.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 8:38 - Now the man from whom the demons had departed begged Him that he might be with Him. But Jesus sent him away, saying,
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 8:41 - And behold, there came a man named Jairus, and he was a ruler of the synagogue. And he fell down at Jesus' feet and begged Him to come to his house,
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 8:44 - came from behind and touched the border of His garment. And immediately her flow of blood stopped.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 8:45 - And Jesus said, “Who touched Me?” When all denied it, Peter and those with him[fn] said, “Master, the multitudes throng and press You, and You say, ‘Who touched Me?' ”[fn]
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 8:47 - Now when the woman saw that she was not hidden, she came trembling; and falling down before Him, she declared to Him in the presence of all the people the reason she had touched Him and how she was healed immediately.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 8:49 - While He was still speaking, someone came from the ruler of the synagogue's house, saying to him, “Your daughter is dead. Do not trouble the Teacher.”[fn]
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 8:53 - And they ridiculed Him, knowing that she was dead.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 9:7 - Now Herod the tetrarch heard of all that was done by Him; and he was perplexed, because it was said by some that John had risen from the dead,
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 9:14 - For there were about five thousand men. Then He said to His disciples, “Make them sit down in groups of fifty.”
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 9:23 - Then He said to them all, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily,[fn] and follow Me.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 9:24 - “For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will save it.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 9:26 - “For whoever is ashamed of Me and My words, of him the Son of Man will be ashamed when He comes in His own glory, and in His Father's, and of the holy angels.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 9:29 - As He prayed, the appearance of His face was altered, and His robe became white and glistening.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 9:31 - who appeared in glory and spoke of His decease which He was about to accomplish at Jerusalem.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 9:32 - But Peter and those with him were heavy with sleep; and when they were fully awake, they saw His glory and the two men who stood with Him.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 9:33 - Then it happened, as they were parting from Him, that Peter said to Jesus, “Master, it is good for us to be here; and let us make three tabernacles: one for You, one for Moses, and one for Elijah”—not knowing what he said.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 9:34 - While he was saying this, a cloud came and overshadowed them; and they were fearful as they entered the cloud.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 9:35 - And a voice came out of the cloud, saying, “This is My beloved Son.[fn] Hear Him!”
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 9:39 - “And behold, a spirit seizes him, and he suddenly cries out; it convulses him so that he foams at the mouth; and it departs from him with great difficulty, bruising him.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 9:42 - And as he was still coming, the demon threw him down and convulsed him. Then Jesus rebuked the unclean spirit, healed the child, and gave him back to his father.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 9:43 - And they were all amazed at the majesty of God. But while everyone marveled at all the things which Jesus did, He said to His disciples,
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 9:51 - Now it came to pass, when the time had come for Him to be received up, that He steadfastly set His face to go to Jerusalem,
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 9:52 - and sent messengers before His face. And as they went, they entered a village of the Samaritans, to prepare for Him.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 9:53 - But they did not receive Him, because His face was set for the journey to Jerusalem.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 9:54 - And when His disciples James and John saw this, they said, “Lord, do You want us to command fire to come down from heaven and consume them, just as Elijah did?”[fn]
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 9:62 - But Jesus said to him, “No one, having put his hand to the plow, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.”
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 10:1 - After these things the Lord appointed seventy others also,[fn] and sent them two by two before His face into every city and place where He Himself was about to go.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 10:2 - Then He said to them, “The harvest truly is great, but the laborers are few; therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 10:7 - “And remain in the same house, eating and drinking such things as they give, for the laborer is worthy of his wages. Do not go from house to house.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 10:34 - “So he went to him and bandaged his wounds, pouring on oil and wine; and he set him on his own animal, brought him to an inn, and took care of him.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 10:35 - “On the next day, when he departed,[fn] he took out two denarii, gave them to the innkeeper, and said to him, ‘Take care of him; and whatever more you spend, when I come again, I will repay you.'
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 10:37 - And he said, “He who showed mercy on him.” Then Jesus said to him, “Go and do likewise.”
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 10:39 - And she had a sister called Mary, who also sat at Jesus'[fn] feet and heard His word.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 11:1 - Now it came to pass, as He was praying in a certain place, when He ceased, that one of His disciples said to Him, “Lord, teach us to pray, as John also taught his disciples.”
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 11:8 - “I say to you, though he will not rise and give to him because he is his friend, yet because of his persistence he will rise and give him as many as he needs.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 11:16 - Others, testing Him, sought from Him a sign from heaven.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 11:18 - “If Satan also is divided against himself, how will his kingdom stand? Because you say I cast out demons by Beelzebub.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 11:21 - “When a strong man, fully armed, guards his own palace, his goods are in peace.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 11:22 - “But when a stronger than he comes upon him and overcomes him, he takes from him all his armor in which he trusted, and divides his spoils.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 11:53 - And as He said these things to them,[fn] the scribes and the Pharisees began to assail Him vehemently, and to cross-examine Him about many things,
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 11:54 - lying in wait for Him, and seeking to catch Him in something He might say, that they might accuse Him.[fn]
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 12:1 - In the meantime, when an innumerable multitude of people had gathered together, so that they trampled one another, He began to say to His disciples first of all, “Beware of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 12:15 - And He said to them, “Take heed and beware of covetousness,[fn] for one's life does not consist in the abundance of the things he possesses.”
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 12:22 - Then He said to His disciples, “Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat; nor about the body, what you will put on.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 12:25 - “And which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature?
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 12:27 - “Consider the lilies, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; and yet I say to you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 12:39 - “But know this, that if the master of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched and[fn] not allowed his house to be broken into.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 12:42 - And the Lord said, “Who then is that faithful and wise steward, whom his master will make ruler over his household, to give them their portion of food in due season?
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 12:43 - “Blessed is that servant whom his master will find so doing when he comes.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 12:44 - “Truly, I say to you that he will make him ruler over all that he has.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 12:45 - “But if that servant says in his heart, ‘My master is delaying his coming,' and begins to beat the male and female servants, and to eat and drink and be drunk,
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 12:46 - “the master of that servant will come on a day when he is not looking for him, and at an hour when he is not aware, and will cut him in two and appoint him his portion with the unbelievers.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 12:47 - “And that servant who knew his master's will, and did not prepare himself or do according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 12:48 - “But he who did not know, yet committed things deserving of stripes, shall be beaten with few. For everyone to whom much is given, from him much will be required; and to whom much has been committed, of him they will ask the more.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 12:58 - “When you go with your adversary to the magistrate, make every effort along the way to settle with him, lest he drag you to the judge, the judge deliver you to the officer, and the officer throw you into prison.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 13:6 - He also spoke this parable: “A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard, and he came seeking fruit on it and found none.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 13:15 - The Lord then answered him and said, “Hypocrite![fn] Does not each one of you on the Sabbath loose his ox or donkey from the stall, and lead it away to water it?
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 13:17 - And when He said these things, all His adversaries were put to shame; and all the multitude rejoiced for all the glorious things that were done by Him.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 14:2 - And behold, there was a certain man before Him who had dropsy.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 14:8 - “When you are invited by anyone to a wedding feast, do not sit down in the best place, lest one more honorable than you be invited by him;
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 14:17 - “and sent his servant at supper time to say to those who were invited, ‘Come, for all things are now ready.'
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 14:21 - “So that servant came and reported these things to his master. Then the master of the house, being angry, said to his servant, ‘Go out quickly into the streets and lanes of the city, and bring in here the poor and the maimed and the lame and the blind.'
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 14:29 - “lest, after he has laid the foundation, and is not able to finish, all who see it begin to mock him,
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 14:32 - “Or else, while the other is still a great way off, he sends a delegation and asks conditions of peace.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 15:1 - Then all the tax collectors and the sinners drew near to Him to hear Him.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 15:13 - “And not many days after, the younger son gathered all together, journeyed to a far country, and there wasted his possessions with prodigal living.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 15:14 - “But when he had spent all, there arose a severe famine in that land, and he began to be in want.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 15:15 - “Then he went and joined himself to a citizen of that country, and he sent him into his fields to feed swine.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 15:20 - “And he arose and came to his father. But when he was still a great way off, his father saw him and had compassion, and ran and fell on his neck and kissed him.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 15:22 - “But the father said to his servants, ‘Bring[fn] out the best robe and put it on him, and put a ring on his hand and sandals on his feet.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 15:25 - “Now his older son was in the field. And as he came and drew near to the house, he heard music and dancing.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 15:26 - “So he called one of the servants and asked what these things meant.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 15:28 - “But he was angry and would not go in. Therefore his father came out and pleaded with him.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 16:1 - He also said to His disciples: “There was a certain rich man who had a steward, and an accusation was brought to him that this man was wasting his goods.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 16:18 - “Whoever divorces his wife and marries another commits adultery; and whoever marries her who is divorced from her husband commits adultery.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 16:20 - “But there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, full of sores, who was laid at his gate,
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 16:21 - “desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell[fn] from the rich man's table. Moreover the dogs came and licked his sores.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 16:23 - “And being in torments in Hades, he lifted up his eyes and saw Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 16:24 - “Then he cried and said, ‘Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus that he may dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.'
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 17:2 - “It would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were thrown into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 17:12 - Then as He entered a certain village, there met Him ten men who were lepers, who stood afar off.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 17:16 - and fell down on his face at His feet, giving Him thanks. And he was a Samaritan.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 17:24 - “For as the lightning that flashes out of one part under heaven shines to the other part under heaven, so also the Son of Man will be in His day.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 17:31 - “In that day, he who is on the housetop, and his goods are in the house, let him not come down to take them away. And likewise the one who is in the field, let him not turn back.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 17:33 - “Whoever seeks to save his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life will preserve it.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 18:7 - “And shall God not avenge His own elect who cry out day and night to Him, though He bears long with them?
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 18:13 - “And the tax collector, standing afar off, would not so much as raise his eyes to heaven, but beat his breast, saying, ‘God, be merciful to me a sinner!'
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 18:14 - “I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other; for everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted.”
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 18:40 - So Jesus stood still and commanded him to be brought to Him. And when he had come near, He asked him,
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 19:14 - “But his citizens hated him, and sent a delegation after him, saying, ‘We will not have this man to reign over us.'
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 19:24 - “And he said to those who stood by, ‘Take the mina from him, and give it to him who has ten minas.'
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 19:26 - ‘For I say to you, that to everyone who has will be given; and from him who does not have, even what he has will be taken away from him.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 19:29 - And it came to pass, when He drew near to Bethphage[fn] and Bethany, at the mountain called Olivet, that He sent two of His disciples,
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 19:31 - “And if anyone asks you, ‘Why are you loosing it?' thus you shall say to him, ‘Because the Lord has need of it.' ”
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 19:33 - But as they were loosing the colt, the owners of it said to them, “Why are you loosing the colt?”
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 19:34 - And they said, “The Lord has need of him.”
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 19:36 - And as He went, many spread their clothes on the road.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 19:37 - Then, as He was now drawing near the descent of the Mount of Olives, the whole multitude of the disciples began to rejoice and praise God with a loud voice for all the mighty works they had seen,
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 19:48 - and were unable to do anything; for all the people were very attentive to hear Him.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 20:1 - Now it happened on one of those days, as He taught the people in the temple and preached the gospel, that the chief priests and the scribes, together with the elders, confronted Him
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 20:20 - So they watched Him, and sent spies who pretended to be righteous, that they might seize on His words, in order to deliver Him to the power and the authority of the governor.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 20:26 - But they could not catch Him in His words in the presence of the people. And they marveled at His answer and kept silent.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 20:28 - saying: “Teacher, Moses wrote to us that if a man's brother dies, having a wife, and he dies without children, his brother should take his wife and raise up offspring for his brother.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 20:44 - “Therefore David calls Him ‘Lord'; how is He then his Son?”
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 20:45 - Then, in the hearing of all the people, He said to His disciples,
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 21:38 - Then early in the morning all the people came to Him in the temple to hear Him.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 22:36 - Then He said to them, “But now, he who has a money bag, let him take it, and likewise a knapsack; and he who has no sword, let him sell his garment and buy one.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 22:39 - Coming out, He went to the Mount of Olives, as He was accustomed, and His disciples also followed Him.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 22:44 - And being in agony, He prayed more earnestly. Then His sweat became like great drops of blood falling down to the ground.[fn]
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 22:47 - And while He was still speaking, behold, a multitude; and he who was called Judas, one of the twelve, went before them and drew near to Jesus to kiss Him.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 22:50 - And one of them struck the servant of the high priest and cut off his right ear.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 22:51 - But Jesus answered and said, “Permit even this.” And He touched his ear and healed him.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 22:59 - Then after about an hour had passed, another confidently affirmed, saying, “Surely this fellow also was with Him, for he is a Galilean.”
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 22:60 - But Peter said, “Man, I do not know what you are saying!” Immediately, while he was still speaking, the rooster[fn] crowed.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 22:64 - And having blindfolded Him, they struck Him on the face and asked Him,[fn] saying, “Prophesy! Who is the one who struck You?”
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 22:71 - And they said, “What further testimony do we need? For we have heard it ourselves from His own mouth.”
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 23:2 - And they began to accuse Him, saying, “We found this fellow perverting the[fn] nation, and forbidding to pay taxes to Caesar, saying that He Himself is Christ, a King.”
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 23:8 - Now when Herod saw Jesus, he was exceedingly glad; for he had desired for a long time to see Him, because he had heard many things about Him, and he hoped to see some miracle done by Him.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 23:10 - And the chief priests and scribes stood and vehemently accused Him.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 23:11 - Then Herod, with his men of war, treated Him with contempt and mocked Him, arrayed Him in a gorgeous robe, and sent Him back to Pilate.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 23:14 - said to them, “You have brought this Man to me, as one who misleads the people. And indeed, having examined Him in your presence, I have found no fault in this Man concerning those things of which you accuse Him;
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 23:34 - Then Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do.”[fn] And they divided His garments and cast lots.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 23:49 - But all His acquaintances, and the women who followed Him from Galilee, stood at a distance, watching these things.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 23:55 - And the women who had come with Him from Galilee followed after, and they observed the tomb and how His body was laid.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 24:8 - And they remembered His words.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 24:23 - “When they did not find His body, they came saying that they had also seen a vision of angels who said He was alive.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 24:26 - “Ought not the Christ to have suffered these things and to enter into His glory?”
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 24:47 - “and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in His name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 24:50 - And He led them out as far as Bethany, and He lifted up His hands and blessed them.
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 1:3 - All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made.
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 1:7 - This man came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all through him might believe.
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 1:10 - He was in the world, and the world was made through Him, and the world did not know Him.
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 1:12 - But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name:
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 1:14 - And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 1:15 - John bore witness of Him and cried out, saying, “This was He of whom I said, ‘He who comes after me is preferred before me, for He was before me.' ”
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 1:16 - And[fn] of His fullness we have all received, and grace for grace.
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 1:27 - “It is He who, coming after me, is preferred before me, whose sandal strap I am not worthy to loose.”
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 1:35 - Again, the next day, John stood with two of his disciples.
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 1:37 - The two disciples heard him speak, and they followed Jesus.
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 1:47 - Jesus saw Nathanael coming toward Him, and said of him, “Behold, an Israelite indeed, in whom is no deceit!”
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 2:2 - Now both Jesus and His disciples were invited to the wedding.
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 2:5 - His mother said to the servants, “Whatever He says to you, do it.
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 2:11 - This beginning of signs Jesus did in Cana of Galilee, and manifested His glory; and His disciples believed in Him.
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 2:12 - After this He went down to Capernaum, He, His mother, His brothers, and His disciples; and they did not stay there many days.
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 2:17 - Then His disciples remembered that it was written, “Zeal for Your house has eaten[fn] Me up.”[fn]
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 2:21 - But He was speaking of the temple of His body.
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 2:22 - Therefore, when He had risen from the dead, His disciples remembered that He had said this to them;[fn] and they believed the Scripture and the word which Jesus had said.
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 2:23 - Now when He was in Jerusalem at the Passover, during the feast, many believed in His name when they saw the signs which He did.
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 3:2 - This man came to Jesus by night and said to Him, “Rabbi, we know that You are a teacher come from God; for no one can do these signs that You do unless God is with him.”
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 3:4 - Nicodemus said to Him, “How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother's womb and be born?”
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 3:16 - “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 3:17 - “For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 3:20 - “For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed.
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 3:21 - “But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God.”
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 3:22 - After these things Jesus and His disciples came into the land of Judea, and there He remained with them and baptized.
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 3:29 - “He who has the bride is the bridegroom; but the friend of the bridegroom, who stands and hears him, rejoices greatly because of the bridegroom's voice. Therefore this joy of mine is fulfilled.
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 3:32 - “And what He has seen and heard, that He testifies; and no one receives His testimony.
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 3:33 - “He who has received His testimony has certified that God is true.
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 3:35 - “The Father loves the Son, and has given all things into His hand.
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 4:2 - (though Jesus Himself did not baptize, but His disciples),
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 4:5 - So He came to a city of Samaria which is called Sychar, near the plot of ground that Jacob gave to his son Joseph.
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 4:8 - For His disciples had gone away into the city to buy food.
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 4:12 - “Are You greater than our father Jacob, who gave us the well, and drank from it himself, as well as his sons and his livestock?”
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 4:27 - And at this point His disciples came, and they marveled that He talked with a woman; yet no one said, “What do You seek?” or, “Why are You talking with her?”
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 4:34 - Jesus said to them, “My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me, and to finish His work.
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 4:41 - And many more believed because of His own word.
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 4:47 - When he heard that Jesus had come out of Judea into Galilee, he went to Him and implored Him to come down and heal his son, for he was at the point of death.
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 4:51 - And as he was now going down, his servants met him and told him, saying, “Your son lives!”
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 4:53 - So the father knew that it was at the same hour in which Jesus said to him, “Your son lives.” And he himself believed, and his whole household.
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 5:9 - And immediately the man was made well, took up his bed, and walked. And that day was the Sabbath.
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 5:28 - “Do not marvel at this; for the hour is coming in which all who are in the graves will hear His voice
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 5:35 - “He was the burning and shining lamp, and you were willing for a time to rejoice in his light.
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 5:37 - “And the Father Himself, who sent Me, has testified of Me. You have neither heard His voice at any time, nor seen His form.
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 5:38 - “But you do not have His word abiding in you, because whom He sent, Him you do not believe.
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 6:2 - Then a great multitude followed Him, because they saw His signs which He performed on those who were diseased.
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 6:3 - And Jesus went up on the mountain, and there He sat with His disciples.
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 6:8 - One of His disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter's brother, said to Him,
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 6:12 - So when they were filled, He said to His disciples, “Gather up the fragments that remain, so that nothing is lost.”
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 6:16 - Now when evening came, His disciples went down to the sea,
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 6:22 - On the following day, when the people who were standing on the other side of the sea saw that there was no other boat there, except that one which His disciples had entered,[fn] and that Jesus had not entered the boat with His disciples, but His disciples had gone away alone—
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 6:24 - when the people therefore saw that Jesus was not there, nor His disciples, they also got into boats and came to Capernaum, seeking Jesus.
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 6:41 - The Jews then complained about Him, because He said, “I am the bread which came down from heaven.”
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 6:50 - “This is the bread which comes down from heaven, that one may eat of it and not die.
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 6:53 - Then Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood, you have no life in you.
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 6:60 - Therefore many of His disciples, when they heard this, said, “This is a hard saying; who can understand it?”
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 6:61 - When Jesus knew in Himself that His disciples complained about this, He said to them, “Does this offend you?
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 6:66 - From that time many of His disciples went back and walked with Him no more.
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 7:3 - His brothers therefore said to Him, “Depart from here and go into Judea, that Your disciples also may see the works that You are doing.
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 7:5 - For even His brothers did not believe in Him.
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 7:7 - “The world cannot hate you, but it hates Me because I testify of it that its works are evil.
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 7:10 - But when His brothers had gone up, then He also went up to the feast, not openly, but as it were in secret.
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 7:12 - And there was much complaining among the people concerning Him. Some said, “He is good”; others said, “No, on the contrary, He deceives the people.”
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 7:13 - However, no one spoke openly of Him for fear of the Jews.
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 7:17 - “If anyone wills to do His will, he shall know concerning the doctrine, whether it is from God or whether I speak on My own authority.
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 7:29 - “But[fn] I know Him, for I am from Him, and He sent Me.”
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 7:30 - Therefore they sought to take Him; but no one laid a hand on Him, because His hour had not yet come.
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 7:32 - The Pharisees heard the crowd murmuring these things concerning Him, and the Pharisees and the chief priests sent officers to take Him.
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 7:38 - “He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.”
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 7:51 - “Does our law judge a man before it hears him and knows what he is doing?”
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 7:53 - And everyone went to his own house.[fn]
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 8:6 - This they said, testing Him, that they might have something of which to accuse Him. But Jesus stooped down and wrote on the ground with His finger, as though He did not hear.[fn]
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 8:20 - These words Jesus spoke in the treasury, as He taught in the temple; and no one laid hands on Him, for His hour had not yet come.
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 8:26 - “I have many things to say and to judge concerning you, but He who sent Me is true; and I speak to the world those things which I heard from Him.”
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 8:30 - As He spoke these words, many believed in Him.
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 8:44 - “You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it.
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 8:55 - “Yet you have not known Him, but I know Him. And if I say, ‘I do not know Him,' I shall be a liar like you; but I do know Him and keep His word.
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 9:2 - And His disciples asked Him, saying, “Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?”
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 9:3 - Jesus answered, “Neither this man nor his parents sinned, but that the works of God should be revealed in him.
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 9:14 - Now it was a Sabbath when Jesus made the clay and opened his eyes.
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 9:17 - They said to the blind man again, “What do you say about Him because He opened your eyes?” He said, “He is a prophet.”
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 9:18 - But the Jews did not believe concerning him, that he had been blind and received his sight, until they called the parents of him who had received his sight.
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 9:20 - His parents answered them and said, “We know that this is our son, and that he was born blind;
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 9:21 - “but by what means he now sees we do not know, or who opened his eyes we do not know. He is of age; ask him. He will speak for himself.”
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 9:22 - His parents said these things because they feared the Jews, for the Jews had agreed already that if anyone confessed that He was Christ, he would be put out of the synagogue.
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 9:23 - Therefore his parents said, “He is of age; ask him.”
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 9:27 - He answered them, “I told you already, and you did not listen. Why do you want to hear it again? Do you also want to become His disciples?”
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 9:31 - “Now we know that God does not hear sinners; but if anyone is a worshiper of God and does His will, He hears him.
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 9:40 - Then some of the Pharisees who were with Him heard these words, and said to Him, “Are we blind also?”
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 10:3 - “To him the doorkeeper opens, and the sheep hear his voice; and he calls his own sheep by name and leads them out.
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 10:4 - “And when he brings out his own sheep, he goes before them; and the sheep follow him, for they know his voice.
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 10:5 - “Yet they will by no means follow a stranger, but will flee from him, for they do not know the voice of strangers.”
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 10:11 - “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep.
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 10:20 - And many of them said, “He has a demon and is mad. Why do you listen to Him?”
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 11:2 - It was that Mary who anointed the Lord with fragrant oil and wiped His feet with her hair, whose brother Lazarus was sick.
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 11:12 - Then His disciples said, “Lord, if he sleeps he will get well.”
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 11:13 - However, Jesus spoke of his death, but they thought that He was speaking about taking rest in sleep.
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 11:16 - Then Thomas, who is called the Twin, said to his fellow disciples, “Let us also go, that we may die with Him.”
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 11:32 - Then, when Mary came where Jesus was, and saw Him, she fell down at His feet, saying to Him, “Lord, if You had been here, my brother would not have died.”
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 11:44 - And he who had died came out bound hand and foot with graveclothes, and his face was wrapped with a cloth. Jesus said to them, “Loose him, and let him go.”
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 11:54 - Therefore Jesus no longer walked openly among the Jews, but went from there into the country near the wilderness, to a city called Ephraim, and there remained with His disciples.
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 12:3 - Then Mary took a pound of very costly oil of spikenard, anointed the feet of Jesus, and wiped His feet with her hair. And the house was filled with the fragrance of the oil.
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 12:4 - But one of His disciples, Judas Iscariot, Simon's son, who would betray Him, said,
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 12:16 - His disciples did not understand these things at first; but when Jesus was glorified, then they remembered that these things were written about Him and that they had done these things to Him.
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 12:17 - Therefore the people, who were with Him when He called Lazarus out of his tomb and raised him from the dead, bore witness.
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 12:19 - The Pharisees therefore said among themselves, “You see that you are accomplishing nothing. Look, the world has gone after Him!”
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 12:25 - “He who loves his life will lose it, and he who hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life.
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 12:37 - But although He had done so many signs before them, they did not believe in Him,
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 12:41 - These things Isaiah said when[fn] he saw His glory and spoke of Him.
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 12:50 - “And I know that His command is everlasting life. Therefore, whatever I speak, just as the Father has told Me, so I speak.”
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 13:1 - Now before the Feast of the Passover, when Jesus knew that His hour had come that He should depart from this world to the Father, having loved His own who were in the world, He loved them to the end.
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 13:12 - So when He had washed their feet, taken His garments, and sat down again, He said to them, “Do you know what I have done to you?
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 13:16 - “Most assuredly, I say to you, a servant is not greater than his master; nor is he who is sent greater than he who sent him.
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 13:18 - “I do not speak concerning all of you. I know whom I have chosen; but that the Scripture may be fulfilled, ‘He who eats bread with Me[fn] has lifted up his heel against Me.'[fn]
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 13:23 - Now there was leaning on Jesus' bosom one of His disciples, whom Jesus loved.
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 15:10 - “If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father's commandments and abide in His love.
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 15:13 - “Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one's life for his friends.
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 15:15 - “No longer do I call you servants, for a servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I heard from My Father I have made known to you.
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 15:20 - “Remember the word that I said to you, ‘A servant is not greater than his master.' If they persecuted Me, they will also persecute you. If they kept My word, they will keep yours also.
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 16:17 - Then some of His disciples said among themselves, “What is this that He says to us, ‘A little while, and you will not see Me; and again a little while, and you will see Me'; and, ‘because I go to the Father'?”
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 16:29 - His disciples said to Him, “See, now You are speaking plainly, and using no figure of speech!
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 17:1 - Jesus spoke these words, lifted up His eyes to heaven, and said: “Father, the hour has come. Glorify Your Son, that Your Son also may glorify You,
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 18:1 - When Jesus had spoken these words, He went out with His disciples over the Brook Kidron, where there was a garden, which He and His disciples entered.
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 18:2 - And Judas, who betrayed Him, also knew the place; for Jesus often met there with His disciples.
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 18:10 - Then Simon Peter, having a sword, drew it and struck the high priest's servant, and cut off his right ear. The servant's name was Malchus.
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 18:19 - The high priest then asked Jesus about His disciples and His doctrine.
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 18:22 - And when He had said these things, one of the officers who stood by struck Jesus with the palm of his hand, saying, “Do You answer the high priest like that?”
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 18:25 - Now Simon Peter stood and warmed himself. Therefore they said to him, “You are not also one of His disciples, are you?” He denied it and said, “I am not!”
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 18:26 - One of the servants of the high priest, a relative of him whose ear Peter cut off, said, “Did I not see you in the garden with Him?”
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 19:2 - And the soldiers twisted a crown of thorns and put it on His head, and they put on Him a purple robe.
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 19:17 - And He, bearing His cross, went out to a place called the Place of a Skull, which is called in Hebrew, Golgotha,
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 19:18 - where they crucified Him, and two others with Him, one on either side, and Jesus in the center.
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 19:23 - Then the soldiers, when they had crucified Jesus, took His garments and made four parts, to each soldier a part, and also the tunic. Now the tunic was without seam, woven from the top in one piece.
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 19:24 - They said therefore among themselves, “Let us not tear it, but cast lots for it, whose it shall be,” that the Scripture might be fulfilled which says:

“They divided My garments among them,
And for My clothing they cast lots.”
[fn]
Therefore the soldiers did these things.
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 19:25 - Now there stood by the cross of Jesus His mother, and His mother's sister, Mary the wife of Clopas, and Mary Magdalene.
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 19:26 - When Jesus therefore saw His mother, and the disciple whom He loved standing by, He said to His mother, “Woman, behold your son!”
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 19:29 - Now a vessel full of sour wine was sitting there; and they filled a sponge with sour wine, put it on hyssop, and put it to His mouth.
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 19:33 - But when they came to Jesus and saw that He was already dead, they did not break His legs.
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 19:34 - But one of the soldiers pierced His side with a spear, and immediately blood and water came out.
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 19:35 - And he who has seen has testified, and his testimony is true; and he knows that he is telling the truth, so that you may believe.
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 19:36 - For these things were done that the Scripture should be fulfilled, “Not one of His bones shall be broken.”[fn]
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 20:7 - and the handkerchief that had been around His head, not lying with the linen cloths, but folded together in a place by itself.
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 20:20 - When He had said this, He showed them His hands and His side. Then the disciples were glad when they saw the Lord.
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 20:25 - The other disciples therefore said to him, “We have seen the Lord.” So he said to them, “Unless I see in His hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and put my hand into His side, I will not believe.”
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 20:26 - And after eight days His disciples were again inside, and Thomas with them. Jesus came, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, “Peace to you!”
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 20:30 - And truly Jesus did many other signs in the presence of His disciples, which are not written in this book;
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 20:31 - but these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in His name.
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 21:2 - Simon Peter, Thomas called the Twin, Nathanael of Cana in Galilee, the sons of Zebedee, and two others of His disciples were together.
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 21:14 - This is now the third time Jesus showed Himself to His disciples after He was raised from the dead.
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 21:20 - Then Peter, turning around, saw the disciple whom Jesus loved following, who also had leaned on His breast at the supper, and said, “Lord, who is the one who betrays You?”
Unchecked Copy BoxJhn 21:24 - This is the disciple who testifies of these things, and wrote these things; and we know that his testimony is true.
Unchecked Copy BoxAct 1:10 - And while they looked steadfastly toward heaven as He went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel,
Unchecked Copy BoxAct 1:14 - These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication,[fn] with the women and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with His brothers.
Unchecked Copy BoxAct 1:18 - (Now this man purchased a field with the wages of iniquity; and falling headlong, he burst open in the middle and all his entrails gushed out.
Unchecked Copy BoxAct 1:20 - “For it is written in the Book of Psalms:

‘Let his dwelling place be desolate,
And let no one live in it'
;[fn]
and,

‘Let[fn] another take his office.'[fn]
Unchecked Copy BoxAct 1:22 - “beginning from the baptism of John to that day when He was taken up from us, one of these must become a witness with us of His resurrection.”
Unchecked Copy BoxAct 2:14 - But Peter, standing up with the eleven, raised his voice and said to them, “Men of Judea and all who dwell in Jerusalem, let this be known to you, and heed my words.
Unchecked Copy BoxAct 2:22 - “Men of Israel, hear these words: Jesus of Nazareth, a Man attested by God to you by miracles, wonders, and signs which God did through Him in your midst, as you yourselves also know—
Unchecked Copy BoxAct 2:24 - “whom God raised up, having loosed the pains of death, because it was not possible that He should be held by it.
Unchecked Copy BoxAct 2:29 - “Men and brethren, let me speak freely to you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his tomb is with us to this day.
Unchecked Copy BoxAct 2:30 - “Therefore, being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him that of the fruit of his body, according to the flesh, He would raise up the Christ to sit on his throne,[fn]
Unchecked Copy BoxAct 2:31 - “he, foreseeing this, spoke concerning the resurrection of the Christ, that His soul was not left in Hades, nor did His flesh see corruption.
Unchecked Copy BoxAct 2:41 - Then those who gladly[fn] received his word were baptized; and that day about three thousand souls were added to them.
Unchecked Copy BoxAct 3:2 - And a certain man lame from his mother's womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms from those who entered the temple;
Unchecked Copy BoxAct 3:7 - And he took him by the right hand and lifted him up, and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength.
Unchecked Copy BoxAct 3:13 - “The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the God of our fathers, glorified His Servant Jesus, whom you delivered up and denied in the presence of Pilate, when he was determined to let Him go.
Unchecked Copy BoxAct 3:16 - “And His name, through faith in His name, has made this man strong, whom you see and know. Yes, the faith which comes through Him has given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.

Unchecked Copy BoxAct 3:21 - “whom heaven must receive until the times of restoration of all things, which God has spoken by the mouth of all His holy prophets since the world began.
Unchecked Copy BoxAct 3:22 - “For Moses truly said to the fathers, ‘The LORD your God will raise up for you a Prophet like me from your brethren. Him you shall hear in all things, whatever He says to you.

Unchecked Copy BoxAct 4:26 - The kings of the earth took their stand,
And the rulers were gathered together
Against the LORD and against His Christ.'
[fn]
Unchecked Copy BoxAct 5:1 - But a certain man named Ananias, with Sapphira his wife, sold a possession.
Unchecked Copy BoxAct 5:2 - And he kept back part of the proceeds, his wife also being aware of it, and brought a certain part and laid it at the apostles' feet.
Unchecked Copy BoxAct 5:7 - Now it was about three hours later when his wife came in, not knowing what had happened.

Unchecked Copy BoxAct 5:37 - “After this man, Judas of Galilee rose up in the days of the census, and drew away many people after him. He also perished, and all who obeyed him were dispersed.
Unchecked Copy BoxAct 5:41 - So they departed from the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer shame for His[fn] name.
Unchecked Copy BoxAct 6:11 - Then they secretly induced men to say, “We have heard him speak blasphemous words against Moses and God.”
Unchecked Copy BoxAct 6:14 - “for we have heard him say that this Jesus of Nazareth will destroy this place and change the customs which Moses delivered to us.”
Unchecked Copy BoxAct 6:15 - And all who sat in the council, looking steadfastly at him, saw his face as the face of an angel.
Unchecked Copy BoxAct 7:4 - “Then he came out of the land of the Chaldeans and dwelt in Haran. And from there, when his father was dead, He moved him to this land in which you now dwell.
Unchecked Copy BoxAct 7:5 - “And God gave him no inheritance in it, not even enough to set his foot on. But even when Abraham had no child, He promised to give it to him for a possession, and to his descendants after him.
Unchecked Copy BoxAct 7:6 - “But God spoke in this way: that his descendants would dwell in a foreign land, and that they would bring them into bondage and oppress them four hundred years.
Unchecked Copy BoxAct 7:9 - “And the patriarchs, becoming envious, sold Joseph into Egypt. But God was with him
Unchecked Copy BoxAct 7:10 - “and delivered him out of all his troubles, and gave him favor and wisdom in the presence of Pharaoh, king of Egypt; and he made him governor over Egypt and all his house.
Unchecked Copy BoxAct 7:13 - “And the second time Joseph was made known to his brothers, and Joseph's family became known to the Pharaoh.

Unchecked Copy BoxAct 7:25 - “For he supposed that his brethren would have understood that God would deliver them by his hand, but they did not understand.
Unchecked Copy BoxAct 7:31 - “When Moses saw it, he marveled at the sight; and as he drew near to observe, the voice of the Lord came to him,
Unchecked Copy BoxAct 7:37 - “This is that Moses who said to the children of Israel,[fn] ‘The LORD your God will raise up for you a Prophet like me from your brethren. Him you shall hear.'[fn]
Unchecked Copy BoxAct 8:1 - Now Saul was consenting to his death. At that time a great persecution arose against the church which was at Jerusalem; and they were all scattered throughout the regions of Judea and Samaria, except the apostles.
Unchecked Copy BoxAct 8:28 - was returning. And sitting in his chariot, he was reading Isaiah the prophet.
Unchecked Copy BoxAct 8:30 - So Philip ran to him, and heard him reading the prophet Isaiah, and said, “Do you understand what you are reading?”
Unchecked Copy BoxAct 8:32 - The place in the Scripture which he read was this:

“He was led as a sheep to the slaughter;
And as a lamb before its shearer is silent,
So He opened not His mouth.
Unchecked Copy BoxAct 8:33 - In His humiliation His justice was taken away,
And who will declare His generation?
For His life is
taken from the earth.”[fn]
Unchecked Copy BoxAct 8:35 - Then Philip opened his mouth, and beginning at this Scripture, preached Jesus to him.
Unchecked Copy BoxAct 8:39 - Now when they came up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught Philip away, so that the eunuch saw him no more; and he went on his way rejoicing.
Unchecked Copy BoxAct 9:2 - and asked letters from him to the synagogues of Damascus, so that if he found any who were of the Way, whether men or women, he might bring them bound to Jerusalem.

Unchecked Copy BoxAct 11:13 - “And he told us how he had seen an angel standing in his house, who said to him, ‘Send men to Joppa, and call for Simon whose surname is Peter,
Unchecked Copy BoxAct 12:5 - Peter was therefore kept in prison, but constant[fn] prayer was offered to God for him by the church.
Unchecked Copy BoxAct 12:7 - Now behold, an angel of the Lord stood by him, and a light shone in the prison; and he struck Peter on the side and raised him up, saying, “Arise quickly!” And his chains fell off his hands.
Unchecked Copy BoxAct 12:10 - When they were past the first and the second guard posts, they came to the iron gate that leads to the city, which opened to them of its own accord; and they went out and went down one street, and immediately the angel departed from him.
Unchecked Copy BoxAct 12:11 - And when Peter had come to himself, he said, “Now I know for certain that the Lord has sent His angel, and has delivered me from the hand of Herod and from all the expectation of the Jewish people.”
Unchecked Copy BoxAct 12:15 - But they said to her, “You are beside yourself!” Yet she kept insisting that it was so. So they said, “It is his angel.”
Unchecked Copy BoxAct 13:8 - But Elymas the sorcerer (for so his name is translated) withstood them, seeking to turn the proconsul away from the faith.
Unchecked Copy BoxAct 13:24 - “after John had first preached, before His coming, the baptism of repentance to all the people of Israel.
Unchecked Copy BoxAct 13:29 - “Now when they had fulfilled all that was written concerning Him, they took Him down from the tree and laid Him in a tomb.
Unchecked Copy BoxAct 13:31 - “He was seen for many days by those who came up with Him from Galilee to Jerusalem, who are His witnesses to the people.
Unchecked Copy BoxAct 13:36 - “For David, after he had served his own generation by the will of God, fell asleep, was buried with his fathers, and saw corruption;
Unchecked Copy BoxAct 14:3 - Therefore they stayed there a long time, speaking boldly in the Lord, who was bearing witness to the word of His grace, granting signs and wonders to be done by their hands.
Unchecked Copy BoxAct 14:8 - And in Lystra a certain man without strength in his feet was sitting, a cripple from his mother's womb, who had never walked.
Unchecked Copy BoxAct 15:14 - “Simon has declared how God at the first visited the Gentiles to take out of them a people for His name.
Unchecked Copy BoxAct 16:3 - Paul wanted to have him go on with him. And he took him and circumcised him because of the Jews who were in that region, for they all knew that his father was Greek.
Unchecked Copy BoxAct 16:32 - Then they spoke the word of the Lord to him and to all who were in his house.
Unchecked Copy BoxAct 16:33 - And he took them the same hour of the night and washed their stripes. And immediately he and all his family were baptized.
Unchecked Copy BoxAct 17:16 - Now while Paul waited for them at Athens, his spirit was provoked within him when he saw that the city was given over to idols.
Unchecked Copy BoxAct 17:19 - And they took him and brought him to the Areopagus, saying, “May we know what this new doctrine is of which you speak?
Unchecked Copy BoxAct 18:2 - And he found a certain Jew named Aquila, born in Pontus, who had recently come from Italy with his wife Priscilla (because Claudius had commanded all the Jews to depart from Rome); and he came to them.
Unchecked Copy BoxAct 18:8 - Then Crispus, the ruler of the synagogue, believed on the Lord with all his household. And many of the Corinthians, hearing, believed and were baptized.

Unchecked Copy BoxAct 18:27 - And when he desired to cross to Achaia, the brethren wrote, exhorting the disciples to receive him; and when he arrived, he greatly helped those who had believed through grace;
Unchecked Copy BoxAct 19:12 - so that even handkerchiefs or aprons were brought from his body to the sick, and the diseases left them and the evil spirits went out of them.
Unchecked Copy BoxAct 20:10 - But Paul went down, fell on him, and embracing him said, “Do not trouble yourselves, for his life is in him.”
Unchecked Copy BoxAct 20:32 - “So now, brethren, I commend you to God and to the word of His grace, which is able to build you up and give you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified.
Unchecked Copy BoxAct 20:36 - And when he had said these things, he knelt down and prayed with them all.
Unchecked Copy BoxAct 20:38 - sorrowing most of all for the words which he spoke, that they would see his face no more. And they accompanied him to the ship.
Unchecked Copy BoxAct 21:11 - When he had come to us, he took Paul's belt, bound his own hands and feet, and said, “Thus says the Holy Spirit, ‘So shall the Jews at Jerusalem bind the man who owns this belt, and deliver him into the hands of the Gentiles.' ”
Unchecked Copy BoxAct 21:14 - So when he would not be persuaded, we ceased, saying, “The will of the Lord be done.”
Unchecked Copy BoxAct 21:19 - When he had greeted them, he told in detail those things which God had done among the Gentiles through his ministry.
Unchecked Copy BoxAct 21:33 - Then the commander came near and took him, and commanded him to be bound with two chains; and he asked who he was and what he had done.
Unchecked Copy BoxAct 21:40 - So when he had given him permission, Paul stood on the stairs and motioned with his hand to the people. And when there was a great silence, he spoke to them in the Hebrew language, saying,
Unchecked Copy BoxAct 22:14 - “Then he said, ‘The God of our fathers has chosen you that you should know His will, and see the Just One, and hear the voice of His mouth.
Unchecked Copy BoxAct 22:20 - ‘And when the blood of Your martyr Stephen was shed, I also was standing by consenting to his death,[fn] and guarding the clothes of those who were killing him.'
Unchecked Copy BoxAct 22:22 - And they listened to him until this word, and then they raised their voices and said, “Away with such a fellow from the earth, for he is not fit to live!”
Unchecked Copy BoxAct 22:29 - Then immediately those who were about to examine him withdrew from him; and the commander was also afraid after he found out that he was a Roman, and because he had bound him.
Unchecked Copy BoxAct 23:2 - And the high priest Ananias commanded those who stood by him to strike him on the mouth.
Unchecked Copy BoxAct 23:7 - And when he had said this, a dissension arose between the Pharisees and the Sadducees; and the assembly was divided.
Unchecked Copy BoxAct 23:15 - “Now you, therefore, together with the council, suggest to the commander that he be brought down to you tomorrow,[fn] as though you were going to make further inquiries concerning him; but we are ready to kill him before he comes near.”
Unchecked Copy BoxAct 23:19 - Then the commander took him by the hand, went aside, and asked privately, “What is it that you have to tell me?”
Unchecked Copy BoxAct 23:20 - And he said, “The Jews have agreed to ask that you bring Paul down to the council tomorrow, as though they were going to inquire more fully about him.
Unchecked Copy BoxAct 24:2 - And when he was called upon, Tertullus began his accusation, saying: “Seeing that through you we enjoy great peace, and prosperity is being brought to this nation by your foresight,
Unchecked Copy BoxAct 24:8 - “commanding his accusers to come to you. By examining him yourself you may ascertain all these things of which we accuse him.”
Unchecked Copy BoxAct 24:23 - So he commanded the centurion to keep Paul and to let him have liberty, and told him not to forbid any of his friends to provide for or visit him.
Unchecked Copy BoxAct 24:24 - And after some days, when Felix came with his wife Drusilla, who was Jewish, he sent for Paul and heard him concerning the faith in Christ.
Unchecked Copy BoxAct 24:25 - Now as he reasoned about righteousness, self-control, and the judgment to come, Felix was afraid and answered, “Go away for now; when I have a convenient time I will call for you.”
Unchecked Copy BoxAct 25:3 - asking a favor against him, that he would summon him to Jerusalem—while they lay in ambush along the road to kill him.
Unchecked Copy BoxAct 25:5 - “Therefore,” he said, “let those who have authority among you go down with me and accuse this man, to see if there is any fault in him.”
Unchecked Copy BoxAct 25:7 - When he had come, the Jews who had come down from Jerusalem stood about and laid many serious complaints against Paul, which they could not prove,
Unchecked Copy BoxAct 25:8 - while he answered for himself, “Neither against the law of the Jews, nor against the temple, nor against Caesar have I offended in anything at all.”
Unchecked Copy BoxAct 25:15 - “about whom the chief priests and the elders of the Jews informed me, when I was in Jerusalem, asking for a judgment against him.
Unchecked Copy BoxAct 25:22 - Then Agrippa said to Festus, “I also would like to hear the man myself.” “Tomorrow,” he said, “you shall hear him.”
Unchecked Copy BoxAct 25:25 - “But when I found that he had committed nothing deserving of death, and that he himself had appealed to Augustus, I decided to send him.
Unchecked Copy BoxAct 25:27 - “For it seems to me unreasonable to send a prisoner and not to specify the charges against him.”
Unchecked Copy BoxAct 26:24 - Now as he thus made his defense, Festus said with a loud voice, “Paul, you are beside yourself! Much learning is driving you mad!”
Unchecked Copy BoxAct 26:30 - When he had said these things, the king stood up, as well as the governor and Bernice and those who sat with them;
Unchecked Copy BoxAct 28:3 - But when Paul had gathered a bundle of sticks and laid them on the fire, a viper came out because of the heat, and fastened on his hand.
Unchecked Copy BoxAct 28:4 - So when the natives saw the creature hanging from his hand, they said to one another, “No doubt this man is a murderer, whom, though he has escaped the sea, yet justice does not allow to live.”
Unchecked Copy BoxAct 28:29 - And when he had said these words, the Jews departed and had a great dispute among themselves.[fn]
Unchecked Copy BoxRom 1:2 - which He promised before through His prophets in the Holy Scriptures,
Unchecked Copy BoxRom 1:3 - concerning His Son Jesus Christ our Lord, who was born of the seed of David according to the flesh,
Unchecked Copy BoxRom 1:5 - Through Him we have received grace and apostleship for obedience to the faith among all nations for His name,
Unchecked Copy BoxRom 1:9 - For God is my witness, whom I serve with my spirit in the gospel of His Son, that without ceasing I make mention of you always in my prayers,
Unchecked Copy BoxRom 1:20 - For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse,
Unchecked Copy BoxRom 2:4 - Or do you despise the riches of His goodness, forbearance, and longsuffering, not knowing that the goodness of God leads you to repentance?
Unchecked Copy BoxRom 2:6 - who “will render to each one according to his deeds”:[fn]
Unchecked Copy BoxRom 2:26 - Therefore, if an uncircumcised man keeps the righteous requirements of the law, will not his uncircumcision be counted as circumcision?
Unchecked Copy BoxRom 3:7 - For if the truth of God has increased through my lie to His glory, why am I also still judged as a sinner?
Unchecked Copy BoxRom 3:20 - Therefore by the deeds of the law no flesh will be justified in His sight, for by the law is the knowledge of sin.
Unchecked Copy BoxRom 3:24 - being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus,
Unchecked Copy BoxRom 3:25 - whom God set forth as a propitiation by His blood, through faith, to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His forbearance God had passed over the sins that were previously committed,
Unchecked Copy BoxRom 3:26 - to demonstrate at the present time His righteousness, that He might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus.
Unchecked Copy BoxRom 4:5 - But to him who does not work but believes on Him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is accounted for righteousness,
Unchecked Copy BoxRom 4:13 - For the promise that he would be the heir of the world was not to Abraham or to his seed through the law, but through the righteousness of faith.
Unchecked Copy BoxRom 5:9 - Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him.
Unchecked Copy BoxRom 5:10 - For if when we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life.
Unchecked Copy BoxRom 6:3 - Or do you not know that as many of us as were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death?
Unchecked Copy BoxRom 6:5 - For if we have been united together in the likeness of His death, certainly we also shall be in the likeness of His resurrection,
Unchecked Copy BoxRom 6:9 - knowing that Christ, having been raised from the dead, dies no more. Death no longer has dominion over Him.
Unchecked Copy BoxRom 8:9 - But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His.
Unchecked Copy BoxRom 8:11 - But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.
Unchecked Copy BoxRom 8:29 - For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren.
Unchecked Copy BoxRom 9:19 - You will say to me then, “Why does He still find fault? For who has resisted His will?”
Unchecked Copy BoxRom 9:22 - What if God, wanting to show His wrath and to make His power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath prepared for destruction,
Unchecked Copy BoxRom 9:23 - and that He might make known the riches of His glory on the vessels of mercy, which He had prepared beforehand for glory,
Unchecked Copy BoxRom 11:1 - I say then, has God cast away His people? Certainly not! For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin.
Unchecked Copy BoxRom 11:2 - God has not cast away His people whom He foreknew. Or do you not know what the Scripture says of Elijah, how he pleads with God against Israel, saying,
Unchecked Copy BoxRom 11:33 - Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and His ways past finding out!
Unchecked Copy BoxRom 11:34 - “For who has known the mind of the LORD?
Or
who has become His counselor?”[fn]
Unchecked Copy BoxRom 11:36 - For of Him and through Him and to Him are all things, to whom be glory forever. Amen.
Unchecked Copy BoxRom 12:20 - Therefore

“If your enemy is hungry, feed him;
If he is thirsty, give him a drink;
For in so doing you will heap coals of fire on his head.”
[fn]
Unchecked Copy BoxRom 15:10 - And again he says:

“Rejoice, O Gentiles, with His people!”[fn]
Unchecked Copy BoxRom 15:21 - but as it is written:

“To whom He was not announced, they shall see;
And those who have not heard shall understand.”
[fn]
Unchecked Copy BoxRom 16:2 - that you may receive her in the Lord in a manner worthy of the saints, and assist her in whatever business she has need of you; for indeed she has been a helper of many and of myself also.
Unchecked Copy BoxRom 16:13 - Greet Rufus, chosen in the Lord, and his mother and mine.
Unchecked Copy BoxRom 16:15 - Greet Philologus and Julia, Nereus and his sister, and Olympas, and all the saints who are with them.
Unchecked Copy Box1Co 1:9 - God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.
Unchecked Copy Box1Co 1:29 - that no flesh should glory in His presence.
Unchecked Copy Box1Co 1:30 - But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God—and righteousness and sanctification and redemption—
Unchecked Copy Box1Co 2:10 - But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God.
Unchecked Copy Box1Co 6:5 - I say this to your shame. Is it so, that there is not a wise man among you, not even one, who will be able to judge between his brethren?
Unchecked Copy Box1Co 6:14 - And God both raised up the Lord and will also raise us up by His power.
Unchecked Copy Box1Co 7:12 - But to the rest I, not the Lord, say: If any brother has a wife who does not believe, and she is willing to live with him, let him not divorce her.
Unchecked Copy Box1Co 7:36 - But if any man thinks he is behaving improperly toward his virgin, if she is past the flower of youth, and thus it must be, let him do what he wishes. He does not sin; let them marry.
Unchecked Copy Box1Co 7:37 - Nevertheless he who stands steadfast in his heart, having no necessity, but has power over his own will, and has so determined in his heart that he will keep his virgin,[fn] does well.
Unchecked Copy Box1Co 8:3 - But if anyone loves God, this one is known by Him.
Unchecked Copy Box1Co 8:6 - yet for us there is one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we for Him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, through whom are all things, and through whom we live.
Unchecked Copy Box1Co 8:10 - For if anyone sees you who have knowledge eating in an idol's temple, will not the conscience of him who is weak be emboldened to eat those things offered to idols?
Unchecked Copy Box1Co 9:7 - Who ever goes to war at his own expense? Who plants a vineyard and does not eat of its fruit? Or who tends a flock and does not drink of the milk of the flock?
Unchecked Copy Box1Co 9:10 - Or does He say it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written, that he who plows should plow in hope, and he who threshes in hope should be partaker of his hope.
Unchecked Copy Box1Co 10:22 - Or do we provoke the Lord to jealousy? Are we stronger than He?
Unchecked Copy Box1Co 11:4 - Every man praying or prophesying, having his head covered, dishonors his head.
Unchecked Copy Box1Co 14:25 - And thus[fn] the secrets of his heart are revealed; and so, falling down on his face, he will worship God and report that God is truly among you.
Unchecked Copy Box1Co 15:10 - But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace toward me was not in vain; but I labored more abundantly than they all, yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.
Unchecked Copy Box1Co 15:23 - But each one in his own order: Christ the firstfruits, afterward those who are Christ's at His coming.
Unchecked Copy Box1Co 15:25 - For He must reign till He has put all enemies under His feet.
Unchecked Copy Box1Co 15:27 - For “He has put all things under His feet.”[fn] But when He says “all things are put under Him,it is evident that He who put all things under Him is excepted.
Unchecked Copy Box2Co 2:11 - lest Satan should take advantage of us; for we are not ignorant of his devices.
Unchecked Copy Box2Co 2:14 - Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place.
Unchecked Copy Box2Co 3:7 - But if the ministry of death, written and engraved on stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not look steadily at the face of Moses because of the glory of his countenance, which glory was passing away,
Unchecked Copy Box2Co 7:7 - and not only by his coming, but also by the consolation with which he was comforted in you, when he told us of your earnest desire, your mourning, your zeal for me, so that I rejoiced even more.
Unchecked Copy Box2Co 7:13 - Therefore we have been comforted in your comfort. And we rejoiced exceedingly more for the joy of Titus, because his spirit has been refreshed by you all.
Unchecked Copy Box2Co 7:15 - And his affections are greater for you as he remembers the obedience of you all, how with fear and trembling you received him.
Unchecked Copy Box2Co 8:18 - And we have sent with him the brother whose praise is in the gospel throughout all the churches,
Unchecked Copy Box2Co 8:19 - and not only that, but who was also chosen by the churches to travel with us with this gift, which is administered by us to the glory of the Lord Himself and to show your ready mind,
Unchecked Copy Box2Co 9:9 - As it is written:

“He has dispersed abroad,
He has given to the poor;
His righteousness endures forever.”
[fn]
Unchecked Copy Box2Co 9:15 - Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift!
Unchecked Copy Box2Co 11:3 - But I fear, lest somehow, as the serpent deceived Eve by his craftiness, so your minds may be corrupted from the simplicity[fn] that is in Christ.
Unchecked Copy Box2Co 11:15 - Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also transform themselves into ministers of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works.
Unchecked Copy Box2Co 11:33 - but I was let down in a basket through a window in the wall, and escaped from his hands.
Unchecked Copy Box2Co 12:17 - Did I take advantage of you by any of those whom I sent to you?
Unchecked Copy BoxGal 1:15 - But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother's womb and called me through His grace,
Unchecked Copy BoxGal 1:16 - to reveal His Son in me, that I might preach Him among the Gentiles, I did not immediately confer with flesh and blood,
Unchecked Copy BoxGal 3:16 - Now to Abraham and his Seed were the promises made. He does not say, “And to seeds,” as of many, but as of one, “And to your Seed,”[fn] who is Christ.
Unchecked Copy BoxGal 4:4 - But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, born[fn] of a woman, born under the law,
Unchecked Copy BoxGal 4:6 - And because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying out, “Abba, Father!”
Unchecked Copy BoxEph 1:4 - just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love,
Unchecked Copy BoxEph 1:5 - having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will,
Unchecked Copy BoxEph 1:6 - to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved.
Unchecked Copy BoxEph 1:7 - In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace
Unchecked Copy BoxEph 1:9 - having made known to us the mystery of His will, according to His good pleasure which He purposed in Himself,
Unchecked Copy BoxEph 1:11 - In Him also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestined according to the purpose of Him who works all things according to the counsel of His will,
Unchecked Copy BoxEph 1:12 - that we who first trusted in Christ should be to the praise of His glory.
Unchecked Copy BoxEph 1:14 - who[fn] is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory.
Unchecked Copy BoxEph 1:17 - that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him,
Unchecked Copy BoxEph 1:18 - the eyes of your understanding[fn] being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints,
Unchecked Copy BoxEph 1:19 - and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power
Unchecked Copy BoxEph 1:20 - which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places,
Unchecked Copy BoxEph 1:22 - And He put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to the church,
Unchecked Copy BoxEph 1:23 - which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all.
Unchecked Copy BoxEph 2:4 - But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us,
Unchecked Copy BoxEph 2:7 - that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.
Unchecked Copy BoxEph 2:10 - For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.
Unchecked Copy BoxEph 2:15 - having abolished in His flesh the enmity, that is, the law of commandments contained in ordinances, so as to create in Himself one new man from the two, thus making peace,
Unchecked Copy BoxEph 2:18 - For through Him we both have access by one Spirit to the Father.
Unchecked Copy BoxEph 2:20 - having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone,
Unchecked Copy BoxEph 3:5 - which in other ages was not made known to the sons of men, as it has now been revealed by the Spirit to His holy apostles and prophets:
Unchecked Copy BoxEph 3:6 - that the Gentiles should be fellow heirs, of the same body, and partakers of His promise in Christ through the gospel,
Unchecked Copy BoxEph 3:7 - of which I became a minister according to the gift of the grace of God given to me by the effective working of His power.
Unchecked Copy BoxEph 3:12 - in whom we have boldness and access with confidence through faith in Him.
Unchecked Copy BoxEph 3:16 - that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man,
Unchecked Copy BoxEph 4:25 - Therefore, putting away lying, Let each one of you speak truth with his neighbor,”[fn] for we are members of one another.
Unchecked Copy BoxEph 5:30 - For we are members of His body,[fn] of His flesh and of His bones.
Unchecked Copy BoxEph 5:31 - “For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh.”[fn]
Unchecked Copy BoxEph 6:10 - Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.
Unchecked Copy BoxPhl 1:29 - For to you it has been granted on behalf of Christ, not only to believe in Him, but also to suffer for His sake,
Unchecked Copy BoxPhl 2:22 - But you know his proven character, that as a son with his father he served with me in the gospel.
Unchecked Copy BoxPhl 3:10 - that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death,
Unchecked Copy BoxPhl 3:21 - who will transform our lowly body that it may be conformed to His glorious body, according to the working by which He is able even to subdue all things to Himself.
Unchecked Copy BoxPhl 4:19 - And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
Unchecked Copy BoxCol 1:9 - For this reason we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;
Unchecked Copy BoxCol 1:11 - strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power, for all patience and longsuffering with joy;
Unchecked Copy BoxCol 1:13 - He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love,
Unchecked Copy BoxCol 1:14 - in whom we have redemption through His blood,[fn] the forgiveness of sins.
Unchecked Copy BoxCol 1:16 - For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him.
Unchecked Copy BoxCol 1:20 - and by Him to reconcile all things to Himself, by Him, whether things on earth or things in heaven, having made peace through the blood of His cross.
Unchecked Copy BoxCol 1:22 - in the body of His flesh through death, to present you holy, and blameless, and above reproach in His sight—
Unchecked Copy BoxCol 1:24 - I now rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up in my flesh what is lacking in the afflictions of Christ, for the sake of His body, which is the church,
Unchecked Copy BoxCol 1:26 - the mystery which has been hidden from ages and from generations, but now has been revealed to His saints.
Unchecked Copy BoxCol 1:29 - To this end I also labor, striving according to His working which works in me mightily.
Unchecked Copy BoxCol 2:18 - Let no one cheat you of your reward, taking delight in false humility and worship of angels, intruding into those things which he has not[fn] seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind,
Unchecked Copy BoxCol 3:9 - Do not lie to one another, since you have put off the old man with his deeds,
Unchecked Copy BoxCol 3:17 - And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.
Unchecked Copy BoxCol 4:15 - Greet the brethren who are in Laodicea, and Nymphas and the church that is in his[fn] house.
Unchecked Copy Box1Th 1:10 - and to wait for His Son from heaven, whom He raised from the dead, even Jesus who delivers us from the wrath to come.
Unchecked Copy Box1Th 2:19 - For what is our hope, or joy, or crown of rejoicing? Is it not even you in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ at His coming?
Unchecked Copy Box1Th 3:13 - so that He may establish your hearts blameless in holiness before our God and Father at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all His saints.
Unchecked Copy Box1Th 4:6 - that no one should take advantage of and defraud his brother in this matter, because the Lord is the avenger of all such, as we also forewarned you and testified.
Unchecked Copy Box1Th 4:8 - Therefore he who rejects this does not reject man, but God, who has also given[fn] us His Holy Spirit.
Unchecked Copy Box2Th 1:7 - and to give you who are troubled rest with us when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with His mighty angels,
Unchecked Copy Box2Th 1:9 - These shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power,
Unchecked Copy Box2Th 1:10 - when He comes, in that Day, to be glorified in His saints and to be admired among all those who believe,[fn] because our testimony among you was believed.
Unchecked Copy Box2Th 2:8 - And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming.
Unchecked Copy Box1Ti 5:18 - For the Scripture says, “You shall not muzzle an ox while it treads out the grain,”[fn] and, “The laborer is worthy of his wages.”[fn]
Unchecked Copy Box2Ti 1:8 - Therefore do not be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me His prisoner, but share with me in the sufferings for the gospel according to the power of God,
Unchecked Copy Box2Ti 2:19 - Nevertheless the solid foundation of God stands, having this seal: “The Lord knows those who are His,” and, “Let everyone who names the name of Christ[fn] depart from iniquity.”
Unchecked Copy Box2Ti 2:26 - and that they may come to their senses and escape the snare of the devil, having been taken captive by him to do his will.
Unchecked Copy Box2Ti 4:1 - I charge you therefore before God and the Lord Jesus Christ, who will judge the living and the dead at[fn] His appearing and His kingdom:
Unchecked Copy Box2Ti 4:8 - Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing.
Unchecked Copy Box2Ti 4:14 - Alexander the coppersmith did me much harm. May the Lord repay him according to his works.
Unchecked Copy Box2Ti 4:18 - And the Lord will deliver me from every evil work and preserve me for His heavenly kingdom. To Him be glory forever and ever. Amen!
Unchecked Copy BoxTit 1:3 - but has in due time manifested His word through preaching, which was committed to me according to the commandment of God our Savior;
Unchecked Copy BoxTit 3:5 - not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit,
Unchecked Copy BoxHeb 1:3 - who being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by Himself[fn] purged our[fn] sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high,
Unchecked Copy BoxHeb 1:7 - And of the angels He says:

“Who makes His angels spirits
And His ministers a flame of fire.”
[fn]
Unchecked Copy BoxHeb 2:4 - God also bearing witness both with signs and wonders, with various miracles, and gifts of the Holy Spirit, according to His own will?
Unchecked Copy BoxHeb 2:6 - But one testified in a certain place, saying:

“What is man that You are mindful of him,
Or the son of man that You take care of him?
Unchecked Copy BoxHeb 2:8 - You have put all things in subjection under his feet.”[fn]
For in that He put all in subjection under him, He left nothing that is not put under him. But now we do not yet see all things put under him.
Unchecked Copy BoxHeb 3:2 - who was faithful to Him who appointed Him, as Moses also was faithful in all His house.
Unchecked Copy BoxHeb 3:5 - And Moses indeed was faithful in all His house as a servant, for a testimony of those things which would be spoken afterward,
Unchecked Copy BoxHeb 3:6 - but Christ as a Son over His own house, whose house we are if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm to the end.[fn]
Unchecked Copy BoxHeb 3:7 - Therefore, as the Holy Spirit says:

“Today, if you will hear His voice,
Unchecked Copy BoxHeb 3:15 - while it is said:

“Today, if you will hear His voice,
Do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion.”
[fn]
Unchecked Copy BoxHeb 3:18 - And to whom did He swear that they would not enter His rest, but to those who did not obey?
Unchecked Copy BoxHeb 4:1 - Therefore, since a promise remains of entering His rest, let us fear lest any of you seem to have come short of it.
Unchecked Copy BoxHeb 4:4 - For He has spoken in a certain place of the seventh day in this way: “And God rested on the seventh day from all His works”;[fn]
Unchecked Copy BoxHeb 4:7 - again He designates a certain day, saying in David, “Today,” after such a long time, as it has been said:

“Today, if you will hear His voice,
Do not harden your hearts.”
[fn]
Unchecked Copy BoxHeb 4:10 - For he who has entered His rest has himself also ceased from his works as God did from His.
Unchecked Copy BoxHeb 4:13 - And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are naked and open to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account.
Unchecked Copy BoxHeb 5:7 - who, in the days of His flesh, when He had offered up prayers and supplications, with vehement cries and tears to Him who was able to save Him from death, and was heard because of His godly fear,
Unchecked Copy BoxHeb 6:10 - For God is not unjust to forget your work and labor of[fn] love which you have shown toward His name, in that you have ministered to the saints, and do minister.
Unchecked Copy BoxHeb 6:17 - Thus God, determining to show more abundantly to the heirs of promise the immutability of His counsel, confirmed it by an oath,
Unchecked Copy BoxHeb 7:25 - Therefore He is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them.
Unchecked Copy BoxHeb 8:11 - “None of them shall teach his neighbor, and none his brother, saying, ‘Know the LORD,' for all shall know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them.
Unchecked Copy BoxHeb 9:26 - He then would have had to suffer often since the foundation of the world; but now, once at the end of the ages, He has appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of Himself.
Unchecked Copy BoxHeb 10:13 - from that time waiting till His enemies are made His footstool.
Unchecked Copy BoxHeb 10:20 - by a new and living way which He consecrated for us, through the veil, that is, His flesh,
Unchecked Copy BoxHeb 10:30 - For we know Him who said, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,”[fn] says the Lord.[fn] And again, “The LORD will judge His people.”[fn]
Unchecked Copy BoxHeb 11:4 - By faith Abel offered to God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, through which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts; and through it he being dead still speaks.
Unchecked Copy BoxHeb 11:5 - By faith Enoch was taken away so that he did not see death, “and was not found, because God had taken him”;[fn] for before he was taken he had this testimony, that he pleased God.
Unchecked Copy BoxHeb 11:7 - By faith Noah, being divinely warned of things not yet seen, moved with godly fear, prepared an ark for the saving of his household, by which he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness which is according to faith.
Unchecked Copy BoxHeb 11:21 - By faith Jacob, when he was dying, blessed each of the sons of Joseph, and worshiped, leaning on the top of his staff.
Unchecked Copy BoxHeb 11:22 - By faith Joseph, when he was dying, made mention of the departure of the children of Israel, and gave instructions concerning his bones.
Unchecked Copy BoxHeb 11:23 - By faith Moses, when he was born, was hidden three months by his parents, because they saw he was a beautiful child; and they were not afraid of the king's command.
Unchecked Copy BoxHeb 12:5 - And you have forgotten the exhortation which speaks to you as to sons:

“My son, do not despise the chastening of the LORD,
Nor be discouraged when you are rebuked by Him;
Unchecked Copy BoxHeb 12:10 - For they indeed for a few days chastened us as seemed best to them, but He for our profit, that we may be partakers of His holiness.
Unchecked Copy BoxHeb 12:16 - lest there be any fornicator or profane person like Esau, who for one morsel of food sold his birthright.
Unchecked Copy BoxHeb 13:13 - Therefore let us go forth to Him, outside the camp, bearing His reproach.
Unchecked Copy BoxHeb 13:15 - Therefore by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His name.
Unchecked Copy BoxHeb 13:21 - make you complete in every good work to do His will, working in you[fn] what is well pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.
Unchecked Copy BoxJas 1:8 - he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.
Unchecked Copy BoxJas 1:9 - Let the lowly brother glory in his exaltation,
Unchecked Copy BoxJas 1:10 - but the rich in his humiliation, because as a flower of the field he will pass away.
Unchecked Copy BoxJas 1:11 - For no sooner has the sun risen with a burning heat than it withers the grass; its flower falls, and its beautiful appearance perishes. So the rich man also will fade away in his pursuits.
Unchecked Copy BoxJas 1:18 - Of His own will He brought us forth by the word of truth, that we might be a kind of firstfruits of His creatures.
Unchecked Copy BoxJas 1:23 - For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror;
Unchecked Copy BoxJas 1:25 - But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does.
Unchecked Copy BoxJas 1:26 - If anyone among you[fn] thinks he is religious, and does not bridle his tongue but deceives his own heart, this one's religion is useless.
Unchecked Copy BoxJas 2:21 - Was not Abraham our father justified by works when he offered Isaac his son on the altar?
Unchecked Copy BoxJas 2:22 - Do you see that faith was working together with his works, and by works faith was made perfect?
Unchecked Copy BoxJas 3:13 - Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show by good conduct that his works are done in the meekness of wisdom.
Unchecked Copy BoxJas 4:11 - Do not speak evil of one another, brethren. He who speaks evil of a brother and judges his brother, speaks evil of the law and judges the law. But if you judge the law, you are not a doer of the law but a judge.
Unchecked Copy BoxJas 5:20 - let him know that he who turns a sinner from the error of his way will save a soul[fn] from death and cover a multitude of sins.
Unchecked Copy Box1Pe 1:3 - Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,
Unchecked Copy Box1Pe 1:21 - who through Him believe in God, who raised Him from the dead and gave Him glory, so that your faith and hope are in God.
Unchecked Copy Box1Pe 1:24 - because

“All flesh is as grass,
And all
the glory of man[fn] as the flower of the grass.
The grass withers,
And its flower falls away,
Unchecked Copy Box1Pe 2:9 - But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;
Unchecked Copy Box1Pe 2:14 - or to governors, as to those who are sent by him for the punishment of evildoers and for the praise of those who do good.
Unchecked Copy Box1Pe 2:21 - For to this you were called, because Christ also suffered for us,[fn] leaving us[fn] an example, that you should follow His steps:
Unchecked Copy Box1Pe 2:22 - “Who committed no sin,
Nor was deceit found in His mouth”
;[fn]
Unchecked Copy Box1Pe 2:24 - who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed.
Unchecked Copy Box1Pe 3:10 - For

“He who would love life
And see good days,
Let him
refrain his tongue from evil,
And his lips from speaking deceit.
Unchecked Copy Box1Pe 3:12 - For the eyes of the LORD are on the righteous,
And His ears
are open to their prayers;
But the face of the LORD
is against those who do evil.”[fn]
Unchecked Copy Box1Pe 4:13 - but rejoice to the extent that you partake of Christ's sufferings, that when His glory is revealed, you may also be glad with exceeding joy.
Unchecked Copy Box1Pe 5:10 - But may[fn] the God of all grace, who called us[fn] to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you.
Unchecked Copy Box2Pe 1:3 - as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue,
Unchecked Copy Box2Pe 1:9 - For he who lacks these things is shortsighted, even to blindness, and has forgotten that he was cleansed from his old sins.
Unchecked Copy Box2Pe 3:4 - and saying, “Where is the promise of His coming? For since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of creation.”
Unchecked Copy Box2Pe 3:7 - But the heavens and the earth which are now preserved by the same word, are reserved for fire until the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.
Unchecked Copy Box2Pe 3:13 - Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells.
Unchecked Copy Box1Jo 1:3 - that which we have seen and heard we declare to you, that you also may have fellowship with us; and truly our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ.
Unchecked Copy Box1Jo 1:5 - This is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you, that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all.
Unchecked Copy Box1Jo 1:6 - If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth.
Unchecked Copy Box1Jo 1:7 - But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.
Unchecked Copy Box1Jo 1:10 - If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us.
Unchecked Copy Box1Jo 2:3 - Now by this we know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments.
Unchecked Copy Box1Jo 2:4 - He who says, “I know Him,” and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
Unchecked Copy Box1Jo 2:5 - But whoever keeps His word, truly the love of God is perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him.
Unchecked Copy Box1Jo 2:9 - He who says he is in the light, and hates his brother, is in darkness until now.
Unchecked Copy Box1Jo 2:10 - He who loves his brother abides in the light, and there is no cause for stumbling in him.
Unchecked Copy Box1Jo 2:11 - But he who hates his brother is in darkness and walks in darkness, and does not know where he is going, because the darkness has blinded his eyes.
Unchecked Copy Box1Jo 2:17 - And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever.
Unchecked Copy Box1Jo 2:27 - But the anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, and you do not need that anyone teach you; but as the same anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you will[fn] abide in Him.
Unchecked Copy Box1Jo 2:28 - And now, little children, abide in Him, that when[fn] He appears, we may have confidence and not be ashamed before Him at His coming.
Unchecked Copy Box1Jo 2:29 - If you know that He is righteous, you know that everyone who practices righteousness is born of Him.
Unchecked Copy Box1Jo 3:9 - Whoever has been born of God does not sin, for His seed remains in him; and he cannot sin, because he has been born of God.
Unchecked Copy Box1Jo 3:10 - In this the children of God and the children of the devil are manifest: Whoever does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor is he who does not love his brother.
Unchecked Copy Box1Jo 3:12 - not as Cain who was of the wicked one and murdered his brother. And why did he murder him? Because his works were evil and his brother's righteous.
Unchecked Copy Box1Jo 3:15 - Whoever hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him.
Unchecked Copy Box1Jo 3:16 - By this we know love, because He laid down His life for us. And we also ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.
Unchecked Copy Box1Jo 3:17 - But whoever has this world's goods, and sees his brother in need, and shuts up his heart from him, how does the love of God abide in him?
Unchecked Copy Box1Jo 3:19 - And by this we know[fn] that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before Him.
Unchecked Copy Box1Jo 3:22 - And whatever we ask we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do those things that are pleasing in His sight.
Unchecked Copy Box1Jo 3:23 - And this is His commandment: that we should believe on the name of His Son Jesus Christ and love one another, as He gave us[fn] commandment.
Unchecked Copy Box1Jo 3:24 - Now he who keeps His commandments abides in Him, and He in him. And by this we know that He abides in us, by the Spirit whom He has given us.
Unchecked Copy Box1Jo 4:9 - In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him.
Unchecked Copy Box1Jo 4:10 - In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
Unchecked Copy Box1Jo 4:12 - No one has seen God at any time. If we love one another, God abides in us, and His love has been perfected in us.
Unchecked Copy Box1Jo 4:13 - By this we know that we abide in Him, and He in us, because He has given us of His Spirit.
Unchecked Copy Box1Jo 4:20 - If someone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can[fn] he love God whom he has not seen?
Unchecked Copy Box1Jo 4:21 - And this commandment we have from Him: that he who loves God must love his brother also.
Unchecked Copy Box1Jo 5:1 - Whoever believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God, and everyone who loves Him who begot also loves him who is begotten of Him.
Unchecked Copy Box1Jo 5:2 - By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and keep His commandments.
Unchecked Copy Box1Jo 5:3 - For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome.
Unchecked Copy Box1Jo 5:9 - If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater; for this is the witness of God which[fn] He has testified of His Son.
Unchecked Copy Box1Jo 5:10 - He who believes in the Son of God has the witness in himself; he who does not believe God has made Him a liar, because he has not believed the testimony that God has given of His Son.
Unchecked Copy Box1Jo 5:11 - And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son.
Unchecked Copy Box1Jo 5:14 - Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.
Unchecked Copy Box1Jo 5:15 - And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.
Unchecked Copy Box1Jo 5:16 - If anyone sees his brother sinning a sin which does not lead to death, he will ask, and He will give him life for those who commit sin not leading to death. There is sin leading to death. I do not say that he should pray about that.
Unchecked Copy Box1Jo 5:18 - We know that whoever is born of God does not sin; but he who has been born of God keeps himself,[fn] and the wicked one does not touch him.
Unchecked Copy Box1Jo 5:20 - And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us an understanding, that we may know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life.
Unchecked Copy Box2Jo 1:6 - This is love, that we walk according to His commandments. This is the commandment, that as you have heard from the beginning, you should walk in it.
Unchecked Copy Box2Jo 1:11 - for he who greets him shares in his evil deeds.
Unchecked Copy Box3Jo 1:10 - Therefore, if I come, I will call to mind his deeds which he does, prating against us with malicious words. And not content with that, he himself does not receive the brethren, and forbids those who wish to, putting them out of the church.
Unchecked Copy BoxJde 1:14 - Now Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied about these men also, saying, “Behold, the Lord comes with ten thousands of His saints,
Unchecked Copy BoxJde 1:15 - “to execute judgment on all, to convict all who are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have committed in an ungodly way, and of all the harsh things which ungodly sinners have spoken against Him.”
Unchecked Copy BoxJde 1:24 - Now to Him who is able to keep you[fn] from stumbling,
And to present you faultless
Before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy,
Unchecked Copy BoxRev 1:1 - The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave Him to show His servants—things which must shortly take place. And He sent and signified it by His angel to His servant John,
Unchecked Copy BoxRev 1:4 - John, to the seven churches which are in Asia:
Grace to you and peace from Him who is and who was and who is to come, and from the seven Spirits who are before His throne,
Unchecked Copy BoxRev 1:5 - and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler over the kings of the earth. To Him who loved us and washed[fn] us from our sins in His own blood,
Unchecked Copy BoxRev 1:6 - and has made us kings[fn] and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.
Unchecked Copy BoxRev 1:14 - His head and hair were white like wool, as white as snow, and His eyes like a flame of fire;
Unchecked Copy BoxRev 1:15 - His feet were like fine brass, as if refined in a furnace, and His voice as the sound of many waters;
Unchecked Copy BoxRev 1:16 - He had in His right hand seven stars, out of His mouth went a sharp two-edged sword, and His countenance was like the sun shining in its strength.
Unchecked Copy BoxRev 1:17 - And when I saw Him, I fell at His feet as dead. But He laid His right hand on me, saying to me,[fn] “Do not be afraid; I am the First and the Last.
Unchecked Copy BoxRev 2:1 - “To the angel of the church of Ephesus write, ‘These things says He who holds the seven stars in His right hand, who walks in the midst of the seven golden lampstands:
Unchecked Copy BoxRev 2:18 - “And to the angel of the church in Thyatira write, ‘These things says the Son of God, who has eyes like a flame of fire, and His feet like fine brass:
Unchecked Copy BoxRev 3:5 - “He who overcomes shall be clothed in white garments, and I will not blot out his name from the Book of Life; but I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels.
