For the wicked one boasts about his own cravings;
the one who is greedy curses[fn] and despises the LORD.
I will bless the LORD who counsels me —
even at night when my thoughts trouble me.[fn]
Blessed be the LORD,
for he has wondrously shown his faithful love to me
in a city under siege.
Those who are blessed by the LORD will inherit the land,
but those cursed by him will be destroyed.
You are the most handsome of men;[fn]
grace flows from your lips.
Therefore God has blessed you forever.
