Manoah took a young goat and a grain offering and offered them on a rock to the LORD, who did something miraculous[fn] while Manoah and his wife were watching.

Every man would bring his annual tribute: items[fn] of silver and gold, clothing, weapons,[fn] spices, and horses and mules.

All afternoon they kept on raving until the offering of the evening sacrifice, but there was no sound; no one answered, no one paid attention.

About the time for the grain offering the next morning, water suddenly came from the direction of Edom and filled the land.

So the king said to Hazael, “Take a gift with you and go meet the man of God. Inquire of the LORD through him, ‘Will I recover from this sickness? ’ ”

He offered his burnt offering and his grain offering, poured out his drink offering, and splattered the blood of his fellowship offerings on the altar.

Ascribe to the LORD the glory of his name;

He also defeated the Moabites, and they became David’s subjects and brought tribute.

Ornan said to David, “Take it! My lord the king may do whatever he wants.[fn] See, I give the oxen for the burnt offerings, the threshing sledges for the wood, and the wheat for the grain offering ​— ​I give it all.”

So the LORD established the kingdom in his hand. Then all Judah brought him tribute, and he had riches and honor in abundance.

The Ammonites[fn] paid tribute to Uzziah, and his fame spread as far as the entrance of Egypt, for God made him very powerful.

Many were bringing an offering to the LORD to Jerusalem and valuable gifts to King Hezekiah of Judah, and he was exalted in the eyes of all the nations after that.

Everyone who trembled at the words of the God of Israel gathered around me, because of the unfaithfulness of the exiles, while I sat devastated until the evening offering.

the bread displayed before the LORD,[fn] the daily grain offering, the regular burnt offering, the Sabbath and New Moon offerings, the appointed festivals, the holy things, the sin offerings to atone for Israel, and for all the work of the house of our God.

and had prepared a large room for him where they had previously stored the grain offerings, the frankincense, the articles, and the tenths of grain, new wine, and fresh oil prescribed for the Levites, singers, and gatekeepers, along with the contributions for the priests.

May he remember all your offerings
