22 Since you have in obedience ^G5218 to the truth ^G225 purified ^G48 your souls ^G5590 for a love ^G5360 of ^G5360 the ^G5360 brothers ^G5360 without ^G505 hypocrisy ^G505, fervently ^G1619 love ^G25 one ^G240 another ^G240 from [fn]the heart ^G2588, 23 for you have been born ^G313 again ^G313 not of corruptible ^G5349 seed ^G4701 but incorruptible ^G862, that is, through ^G1223 the living ^G2198 and enduring ^G3306 word ^G3056 of God ^G2316. 24 For,

“ALL ^G3956 FLESH ^G4561 IS LIKE ^G5613 GRASS ^G5528,

AND ALL ^G3956 ITS GLORY ^G1391 LIKE ^G5613 THE FLOWER ^G438 OF GRASS ^G5528.

THE GRASS ^G5528 WITHERS ^G3583,

AND THE FLOWER ^G438 FALLS ^G1601 OFF ^G1601,

25 BUT THE WORD ^G4487 OF THE LORD ^G2962 ENDURES ^G3306 FOREVER ^G165.”

And this ^G3778 is the word ^G4487 which was [fn]proclaimed ^G2097 to you as good ^G2097 news ^G2097.
