Blessings for Keeping the Commandments

1 “Now it will be, if ^H518 you diligently ^H8085 listen ^H8085 to the voice ^H6963 of Yahweh ^H3068 your God ^H430, being ^H8104 careful ^H8104 to do ^H6213 all ^H3605 His commandments ^H4687 which ^H834 I am commanding ^H6680 you today ^H3117, Yahweh ^H3068 your God ^H430 will set ^H5414 you high ^H5945 above ^H5921 all ^H3605 the nations ^H1471 of the earth ^H776.

2 And all ^H3605 these ^H428 blessings ^H1293 will come ^H935 upon you and overtake ^H5381 you if ^H3588 you listen ^H8085 to the voice ^H6963 of Yahweh ^H3068 your God ^H430:

3 “Blessed ^H1288 shall you be in the city ^H5892, and blessed ^H1288 shall you be in the [fn]field ^H7704.

4 “Blessed ^H1288 shall be the [fn]offspring ^H6529 of your [fn]body ^H990 and the [fn]produce ^H6529 of your ground ^H127 and the [fn]offspring ^H6529 of your beasts ^H929, the increase ^H7698 of your herd ^H504 and the young ^H6251 of your flock ^H6629.

5 “Blessed ^H1288 shall be your basket ^H2935 and your kneading ^H4863 bowl ^H4863.

6 “Blessed ^H1288 shall you be when you come ^H935 in ^H935, and blessed ^H1288 shall you be when you go ^H3318 out ^H3318.

Curses for Not Keeping the Commandments

16 “Cursed ^H779 shall you be in the city ^H5892, and cursed ^H779 shall you be in the [fn]field ^H7704.
