In God I Trust, I Shall Not Be Afraid

1 Be^H2603 gracious^H2603 to me, O God^H430, for man^H582 has [fn]trampled^H7602 upon me;

All^H3605 day^H3117 long, an attacker^H3898 oppresses^H3905 me.

2 My foes^H8324 have [fn]trampled^H7602 upon me all^H3605 day^H3117 long,

For many^H7227 attack^H3898 me proudly^H4791.

3 [fn]When^H3117 I am^H3372 afraid^H3372,

[fn]I will trust^H982 in You.

4 In God^H430, whose word^H1697 I praise^H1984,

In God^H430 I trust^H982;

I shall not be^H3372 afraid^H3372.

12 Your vows^H5088 are binding upon me, O God^H430;
