Elisha Promises Food

1 Then Elisha ^H477 said ^H559, “Listen ^H8085 to the word ^H1697 of the LORD ^H3068; this ^H3541 is ^H3541 what ^H3541 the LORD ^H3068 says ^H559: ‘About this time ^H6256 tomorrow ^H4279 a [fn]measure ^H5429 of fine ^H5560 flour ^H5560 will be sold for a shekel ^H8255, and two measures ^H5429 of barley ^H8184 for a shekel ^H8255, at the gate ^H8179 of Samaria ^H8111.’”

2 The royal ^H4428 officer ^H7991 on whose ^H834 hand ^H3027 the king ^H4428 was leaning ^H8172 responded ^H6030 to the man ^H376 of God ^H430 and said ^H559, “Even ^H2009 if ^H2009 the LORD ^H3068 were to make ^H6213 [fn]windows ^H699 in heaven ^H8064, could this ^H2088 thing ^H1697 happen ^H1961?” Then he said ^H559, “Behold ^H2009, you are going to see ^H7200 it with your own eyes ^H5869, but you will not eat ^H398 [fn]any of it.”

Four Men with Leprosy Report Arameans’ Flight

3 Now there were four ^H702 leprous ^H6879 men ^H376 at the entrance ^H6607 of the gate ^H8179; and they said ^H559 to one ^H376 another ^H7453, “Why ^H4100 are we sitting ^H3427 here ^H6311 until ^H5704 we die ^H4191?

The Promise Fulfilled
