The Bronze Altar
1 “Now you shall make H6213 the altar H4196 of acacia H7848 wood H6086, [fn]five H2568 cubits H520 long H753 and five H2568 cubits H520 wide H7341; the altar H4196 shall be square H7251, and its height H6967 shall be [fn]three H7969 cubits H520.
2 You shall make H6213 its horns H7161 on its four H702 corners H6438; its horns H7161 shall be of one piece with it, and you shall overlay H6823 it with [fn]bronze H5178. 3 And you shall make H6213 its pails H5518 for removing H1878 its ashes H1878, and its shovels H3257, its basins H4219, its forks H4207, and its firepans H4289; you shall make H6213 all H3605 its utensils H3627 of bronze H5178. 4 You shall also make H6213 for it a grating H4346, a netting H7568 of bronze H5178, and on the netting H7568 you shall make H6213 four H702 bronze H5178 rings H2885 [fn]at its four H702 corners H7098. 5 And you shall put H5414 it under H8478 the ledge H3749 of the altar H4196, so that the netting H7568 will reach H1961 halfway H2677 up the altar H4196. 6 You shall also make H6213 carrying H905 poles H905 for the altar H4196, poles H905 of acacia H7848 wood H6086 and overlay H6823 them with bronze H5178. 7 Its poles H905 shall be inserted H935 into the rings H2885, so that the poles H905 will be on the two H8147 sides H6763 of the altar H4196 when it is carried H5375. 8 You shall make H6213 it hollow H5014 with planks H3871; as it was shown H7200 to you on the mountain H2022, so H3651 they shall make H6213 it.
Courtyard of the Tabernacle
9 “Now you shall make H6213 the courtyard H2691 of the [fn]tabernacle H4908. [fn]On the south H5045 H8486 side H6285 there shall be hangings H7050 for the courtyard H2691 of fine H8336 twisted H7806 linen H8336, a [fn]hundred H3967 cubits H520 long H753 for one H259 side H6285;
10 and its pillars H5982 shall be twenty H6242, with their twenty H6242 bases H134 of bronze H5178; the hooks H2053 of the pillars H5982 and their [fn]bands H2838 shall be of silver H3701. 11 Likewise H3651 for the north H6828 side H6285 in length H753 there shall be hangings H7050 a [fn]hundred H3967 cubits long H753, and its twenty H6242 pillars H5982 with their twenty H6242 bases H134 of bronze H5178; the hooks H2053 of the pillars H5982 and their bands H2838 shall be of silver H3701. 12 For the width H7341 of the courtyard H2691 on the west H3220 side H6285 shall be hangings H7050 of [fn]fifty H2572 cubits H520, with their ten H6235 pillars H5982 and their ten H6235 bases H134. 13 The width H7341 of the courtyard H2691 on the [fn]east H4217 H6924 side H6285 shall be fifty H2572 cubits H520. 14 The hangings H7050 for the one [fn]side H3802 of the gate shall be [fn]fifteen H2568 H6240 cubits H520, with their three H7969 pillars H5982 and their three H7969 bases H134. 15 And for the [fn]other H8145 [fn]side H3802 there shall be hangings H7050 of fifteen H2568 H6240 cubits, with their three H7969 pillars H5982 and their three H7969 bases H134. 16 And for the gate H8179 of the courtyard H2691 there shall be a curtain H4539 of [fn]twenty H6242 cubits H520, of [fn]violet H8504, purple H713, and scarlet H8144 material and fine H8336 twisted H7806 linen H8336, the work H4639 of a [fn]weaver H7551, with their four H702 pillars H5982 and their four H702 bases H134. 17 All H3605 the pillars H5982 around H5439 the courtyard H2691 shall be joined H2836 together H2836 with silver H3701, with their hooks H2053 of silver H3701 and their bases H134 of bronze H5178. 18 The length H753 of the courtyard H2691 shall be a [fn]hundred H3967 cubits H520, and the width H7341 fifty H2572 throughout, and the height H6967 five H2568 cubits H520 of fine H8336 twisted H7806 linen H8336, and their bases H134 of bronze H5178. 19 All H3605 the utensils H3627 of the tabernacle H4908 used in all H3605 its service H5656, and all H3605 its pegs H3489, and all H3605 the pegs H3489 of the courtyard H2691, shall be of bronze H5178.
20 “And you shall command H6680 the sons H1121 of Israel H3478 that they bring H3947 you clear H2134 oil H8081 of beaten H3795 olives H2132 for the [fn]light H3974, to make a lamp H5216 [fn]burn H5927 continually H8548. 21 In the tent H168 of meeting H4150, outside H4480 H2351 the veil H6532 which H834 is before H5921 the testimony H5715, Aaron H175 and his sons H1121 shall keep H6186 it in H6186 order H6186 from evening H6153 to morning H1242 before H6440 the LORD H3068; it shall be a permanent H5769 statute H2708 throughout their generations H1755 [fn]for the sons H1121 of Israel H3478.
