Woe to Oppressors
1 Woe H1945 to those who devise H2803 wrongdoing H205,
Who practice H6466 evil H7451 on their beds H4904!
[fn]When morning H1242 comes, they do H6213 it,
Because H3588 it is in the power H410 of their hands H3027.
2 They covet H2530 fields H7704, so they seize H1497 them;
And houses H1004, so they take H5375 them.
They [fn]exploit H6231 a man H1397 and his house H1004,
A person H376 and his inheritance H5159.
3 Therefore H3651 this H3541 is H3541 what H3541 the LORD H3068 says H559:
“Behold H2009, I am planning H2803 against H5921 this H2088 family H4940 a catastrophe H7451
From which H834 you cannot H3808 remove H4185 your necks H6677;
And you will not walk H1980 haughtily H7317,
