Joshua, the High Priest
1 Then he showed H7200 me Joshua H3091 the high H1419 priest H3548 standing H5975 before H6440 the angel H4397 of the LORD H3068, and [fn]Satan H7854 standing H5975 at his right H3225 to accuse H7853 him.
2 And the LORD H3068 said H559 to Satan H7854, “The LORD H3068 rebuke H1605 you, Satan H7854! Indeed, the LORD H3068 who has chosen H977 Jerusalem H3389 rebuke H1605 you! Is this H2088 not a log H181 snatched H5337 from the fire H784?” 3 Now Joshua H3091 was clothed H3847 in filthy H6674 garments H899 and was standing H5975 before H6440 the angel H4397. 4 And he responded H6030 and said H559 to those who were standing H5975 before H6440 him, saying H559, “Remove H5493 the filthy H6674 garments H899 from him.” Again he said H559 to him, “See H7200, I have taken H5674 your guilt H5771 away H5674 from you and [fn]will clothe H3847 you with festive H4254 robes H4254.” 5 Then I said H559, “Have them put H7760 a clean H2889 headband H6797 on his head H7218.” So they put H7760 the clean H2889 headband H6797 on his head H7218 and clothed H3847 him with garments H899, while the angel H4397 of the LORD H3068 was standing H5975 by.
6 And the angel H4397 of the LORD H3068 admonished H5749 Joshua H3091, saying H559, 7 “The LORD H3068 of armies H6635 says H559 this H3541: ‘If H518 you walk H1980 in My ways H1870 and perform H8104 My service H4931, then you will both H1571 govern H1777 My house H1004 and be H8104 in H8104 charge H8104 of H8104 My courtyards H2691, and I will grant H5414 you [fn]free H4109 access H4109 among H996 these H428 who are standing H5975 here.
