Prophecy about Gog and Future Invasion of Israel

1 Now the word ^H1697 of the LORD ^H3068 came ^H1961 to me, saying ^H559,

2 “Son ^H1121 of man ^H120, set ^H7760 your face ^H6440 toward ^H413 Gog ^H1463 of the land ^H776 of Magog ^H4031, the chief ^H7218 prince ^H5387 of Meshech ^H4902 and Tubal ^H8422, and prophesy ^H5012 against ^H5921 him, 3 and say ^H559, ‘This ^H3541 is ^H3541 what ^H3541 the Lord ^H136 [fn]GOD ^H3068 says ^H559: “Behold ^H2009, I am against ^H413 you, Gog ^H1463, chief ^H7218 prince ^H5387 of Meshech ^H4902 and Tubal ^H8422. 4 So I will turn ^H7725 you around ^H7725 and put ^H5414 hooks ^H2397 into your jaws ^H3895, and I will bring ^H3318 you out ^H3318, and all ^H3605 your army ^H2428, horses ^H5483 and horsemen ^H6571, all ^H3605 of them magnificently ^H4358 dressed ^H3847, a great ^H7227 contingent ^H6951 with shield ^H6793 and [fn]buckler ^H4043, all ^H3605 of them wielding ^H8610 swords ^H2719; 5 Persia ^H6539, [fn]Cush ^H3568, and Put ^H6316 with them, all ^H3605 of them with buckler ^H4043 and helmet ^H3553; 6 Gomer ^H1586 with all ^H3605 its troops ^H102; Beth-togarmah ^H1004 H8425 from the remote ^H3411 parts ^H3411 of the north ^H6828 with all ^H3605 its troops ^H102—many ^H7227 peoples ^H5971 with you.

7 “Be ^H3559 ready ^H3559, and be ^H3559 prepared ^H3559, you and all ^H3605 your contingents ^H6951 that are assembled ^H6950 around ^H5921 you, and be a guard ^H4929 for them. 8 After ^H4480 many ^H7227 days ^H3117 you will be summoned ^H6485; in the latter ^H319 years ^H8141 you will come ^H935 into the land ^H776 that is restored ^H7725 from the sword ^H2719, whose inhabitants have been gathered ^H6908 from many ^H7227 [fn]nations ^H5971 to the mountains ^H2022 of Israel ^H3478 which ^H834 had been ^H1961 a continual ^H8548 place ^H2723 of ^H2723 ruins ^H2723; but [fn]its people were brought ^H3318 out ^H3318 from the [fn]nations ^H5971, and they are living ^H3427 securely ^H983, all ^H3605 of them. 9 And you will go ^H5927 up ^H5927, you will come ^H935 like a storm ^H7722; you will be like a cloud ^H6051 covering ^H3680 the land ^H776, you and all ^H3605 your troops ^H102, and many ^H7227 peoples ^H5971 with you.”

10 ‘This ^H3541 is ^H3541 what ^H3541 the Lord ^H136 GOD ^H3068 says ^H559: “It will come ^H1961 about ^H1961 on that day ^H3117, that [fn]thoughts ^H1697 will come ^H5927 into your mind ^H3824 and you will devise ^H2803 an evil ^H7451 plan ^H4284, 11 and you will say ^H559, ‘I will go ^H5927 up ^H5927 against ^H5921 the land ^H776 of [fn]unwalled ^H6519 villages ^H6519. I will go ^H5927 against those who are at ^H8252 rest ^H8252, who live ^H3427 securely ^H983, all ^H3605 of them living ^H3427 without ^H369 walls ^H2346 and having ^H369 no ^H369 bars ^H1280 or gates ^H1817, 12 to capture ^H7997 spoils ^H7998 and to seize ^H962 plunder ^H957, to turn ^H7725 your hand ^H3027 against ^H5921 the ruins ^H2723 that are now inhabited ^H3427, and against ^H413 the people ^H5971 who are gathered ^H622 from the nations ^H1471, who have acquired ^H6213 livestock ^H4735 and goods ^H7075, who live ^H3427 at the [fn]center ^H2872 of the world ^H776.’ 13 Sheba ^H7614 and Dedan ^H1719 and the merchants ^H5503 of Tarshish ^H8659 with all ^H3605 its [fn]villages ^H3724 will say ^H559 to you, ‘Have you come ^H935 to capture ^H7997 spoils ^H7998? Have you assembled ^H6950 your contingent ^H6951 to seize ^H962 plunder ^H957, to carry ^H5375 away silver ^H3701 and gold ^H2091, to take ^H3947 away livestock ^H4735 and goods ^H7075, to capture ^H7997 great ^H1419 spoils ^H7998?’”’

14 “Therefore ^H3651 prophesy ^H5012, son ^H1121 of man ^H120, and say ^H559 to Gog ^H1463, ‘This ^H3541 is ^H3541 what ^H3541 the Lord ^H136 GOD ^H3068 says ^H559: “On that day ^H3117 when My people ^H5971 Israel ^H3478 are living ^H3427 securely ^H983, will you not know ^H3045 it? 15 You will come ^H935 from your place ^H4725 out of the remote ^H3411 parts ^H3411 of the north ^H6828, you and many ^H7227 peoples ^H5971 with you, all ^H3605 of them riding ^H7392 horses ^H5483, a large ^H1419 assembly ^H6951 and a mighty ^H7227 army ^H2428; 16 and you will come ^H5927 up ^H5927 against ^H5921 My people ^H5971 Israel ^H3478 like a cloud ^H6051 to cover ^H3680 the land ^H776. It shall come ^H1961 about ^H1961 in the last ^H319 days ^H3117 that I will bring ^H935 you against ^H5921 My land ^H776, so ^H4616 that ^H4616 the nations ^H1471 may know ^H3045 Me when I show ^H6942 Myself holy ^H6942 through you before their eyes ^H5869, Gog ^H1463.”

17 ‘This ^H3541 is ^H3541 what ^H3541 the Lord ^H136 GOD ^H3068 says ^H559: “Are you the one ^H1931 of whom ^H834 I spoke ^H1696 in former ^H6931 days ^H3117 through ^H3027 My servants ^H5650 the prophets ^H5030 of Israel ^H3478, who prophesied ^H5012 in those ^H1992 days ^H3117 for many years ^H8141 that I would bring ^H935 you against ^H5921 them? 18 It will come ^H1961 about ^H1961 on that day ^H3117, when ^H3117 Gog ^H1463 comes ^H935 against ^H5921 the land ^H127 of Israel ^H3478,” declares ^H5002 the Lord ^H136 GOD ^H3068, “that My fury ^H2534 will mount ^H5927 up ^H5927 in My anger ^H639. 19 In My zeal ^H7068 and in My blazing ^H784 wrath ^H5678 I declare ^H1696 that on that day ^H3117 there will certainly ^H518 H3808 be a great ^H1419 [fn]earthquake ^H7494 in the land ^H127 of Israel ^H3478. 20 The fish ^H1709 of the sea ^H3220, the birds ^H5775 of the sky ^H8064, the animals ^H2416 of the field ^H7704, all ^H3605 the crawling ^H7431 things ^H7431 that crawl ^H7430 on the earth ^H127, and all ^H3605 mankind ^H120 who ^H834 are on the face ^H6440 of the earth ^H127 will shake ^H7493 at My presence ^H6440; and the mountains ^H2022 will be thrown ^H2040 down ^H2040, the steep ^H4095 pathways ^H4095 will [fn]collapse ^H5307, and every ^H3605 wall ^H2346 will fall ^H5307 to the ground ^H776. 21 And I will call ^H7121 for a sword ^H2719 against ^H5921 [fn]him on all ^H3605 My mountains ^H2022,” declares ^H5002 the Lord ^H136 GOD ^H3068. “Every ^H376 man’s ^H376 sword ^H2719 will be against his brother ^H251. 22 With plague ^H1698 and with blood ^H1818 I will enter ^H8199 into ^H8199 judgment ^H8199 with him; and I will rain ^H4305 on him and on his troops ^H102, and on the many ^H7227 peoples ^H5971 who ^H834 are with him, [fn]a torrential ^H7857 rain ^H1653, hailstones ^H417 H68, fire ^H784, and brimstone ^H1614. 23 So I will prove ^H1431 Myself great ^H1431, show ^H6942 Myself holy ^H6942, and make ^H3045 Myself known ^H3045 in the sight ^H5869 of many ^H7227 nations ^H1471; and they will know ^H3045 that I am the LORD ^H3068.”’
