Prophecy against Gog—Invaders Destroyed

1 “And you, son ^H1121 of man ^H120, prophesy ^H5012 against ^H5921 Gog ^H1463 and say ^H559, ‘This ^H3541 is ^H3541 what ^H3541 the Lord ^H136 [fn]GOD ^H3068 says ^H559: “Behold ^H2009, I am against ^H413 you, Gog ^H1463, chief ^H7218 prince ^H5387 of Meshech ^H4902 and Tubal ^H8422;

2 and I will turn ^H7725 you around ^H7725, lead ^H8338 you on ^H8338 a ^H8338 rope ^H8338, take ^H5927 you up ^H5927 from the remotest ^H3411 parts ^H3411 of the north ^H6828, and bring ^H935 you against ^H5921 the mountains ^H2022 of Israel ^H3478. 3 Then I will strike ^H5221 your bow ^H7198 from your left ^H8040 hand ^H3027 and make ^H5307 your arrows ^H2671 fall ^H5307 from your right ^H3225 hand ^H3027. 4 You will fall ^H5307 on the mountains ^H2022 of Israel ^H3478, you and all ^H3605 your troops ^H102, and the peoples ^H5971 who ^H834 are with you; I will give ^H5414 you as food ^H402 to every ^H3605 [fn]kind ^H3671 of predatory ^H5861 bird ^H6833 and animal ^H2416 of the field ^H7704. 5 You will fall ^H5307 on the [fn]open ^H6440 field ^H7704; for it is I who have spoken ^H1696,” declares ^H5002 the Lord ^H136 GOD ^H3068. 6 “And I will send ^H7971 fire ^H784 upon Magog ^H4031 and those who inhabit ^H3427 the coastlands ^H339 in safety ^H983; and they will know ^H3045 that I am the LORD ^H3068.

7 “And I will make ^H3045 My holy ^H6944 name ^H8034 known ^H3045 in the midst ^H8432 of My people ^H5971 Israel ^H3478; and I will not allow ^H2490 My holy ^H6944 name ^H8034 to ^H2490 be ^H2490 profaned ^H2490 anymore ^H5750. But the nations ^H1471 will know ^H3045 that I am the LORD ^H3068, the Holy ^H6918 One ^H6918 in Israel ^H3478. 8 Behold ^H2009, it is coming ^H935 and it shall be done ^H1961,” declares ^H5002 the Lord ^H136 GOD ^H3068. “That is the day ^H3117 of which ^H834 I have spoken ^H1696.

9 “Then those who inhabit ^H3427 the cities ^H5892 of Israel ^H3478 will go ^H3318 out ^H3318 and make ^H1197 fires ^H1197 with the weapons ^H5402 and burn ^H5400 them, both [fn]bucklers ^H4043 and shields ^H6793, bows ^H7198 and arrows ^H2671, war ^H3027 clubs ^H4731 and spears ^H7420, and for seven ^H7651 years ^H8141 they will make ^H1197 fires ^H784 of them. 10 They will not take ^H5375 wood ^H6086 from the field ^H7704 or gather ^H2404 firewood ^H2404 from the forests ^H3293, because ^H3588 they will make ^H1197 fires ^H784 with the weapons ^H5402; and they will take ^H7997 the spoils ^H7997 of those who plundered ^H7997 them and seize ^H962 the plunder ^H962 of those who plundered ^H962 them,” declares ^H5002 the Lord ^H136 GOD ^H3068.

11 “On that day ^H3117 I will give ^H5414 Gog ^H1463 a burial ^H6913 place ^H4725 there ^H8033 in Israel ^H3478, the valley ^H1516 of those who pass ^H5674 by ^H5674 east ^H6926 of the sea ^H3220, and it will block ^H2629 the way ^H2629 of those who would pass ^H5674 by ^H5674. 17 “Now as for you, son ^H1121 of man ^H120, this ^H3541 is ^H3541 what ^H3541 the Lord ^H136 GOD ^H3068 says ^H559: ‘Say ^H559 to every ^H3605 [fn]kind ^H3671 of bird ^H6833 and to every ^H3605 animal ^H2416 of the field ^H7704: “Assemble ^H6908 and come ^H935, gather ^H622 from every ^H5439 direction ^H5439 to My sacrifice ^H2077, which ^H834 I am going to sacrifice ^H2076 for you as a great ^H1419 sacrifice ^H2077 on the mountains ^H2022 of Israel ^H3478; and you will eat ^H398 flesh ^H1320 and drink ^H8354 blood ^H1818. 18 You will eat ^H398 the flesh ^H1320 of warriors ^H1368 and drink ^H8354 the blood ^H1818 of the leaders ^H5387 of the earth ^H776, as though they were rams ^H352, lambs ^H3733, goats ^H6260, and bulls ^H6499, all ^H3605 of them fattened ^H4806 livestock ^H4806 of Bashan ^H1316. 19 So you will eat ^H398 fat ^H2459 until you are full ^H7654, and drink ^H8354 blood ^H1818 until you are drunk ^H7943, from My sacrifice ^H2077 which ^H834 I have sacrificed ^H2076 for you. 20 You will eat ^H7646 your fill ^H7646 at My table ^H7979 with horses ^H5483 and charioteers ^H7393, with warriors ^H1368 and all ^H3605 the men ^H376 of war ^H4421,” declares ^H5002 the Lord ^H136 GOD ^H3068.

21 “And I will place ^H5414 My glory ^H3519 among the nations ^H1471; and all ^H3605 the nations ^H1471 will see ^H7200 My judgment ^H4941 which ^H834 I have executed ^H6213, and My hand ^H3027 which ^H834 I have laid ^H7760 on them. 22 And the house ^H1004 of Israel ^H3478 will know ^H3045 that I am the LORD ^H3068 their God ^H430, from that day ^H3117 onward ^H1973. 23 The nations ^H1471 will know ^H3045 that the house ^H1004 of Israel ^H3478 went ^H1540 into ^H1540 exile ^H1540 for their wrongdoing ^H5771, because ^H5921 H834 they were ^H4603 disloyal ^H4603 to Me, and I hid ^H5641 My face ^H6440 from them; so I handed ^H5414 H3027 them over ^H5414 to their adversaries ^H6862, and all ^H3605 of them fell ^H5307 by the sword ^H2719. 24 In accordance with their uncleanness ^H2932 and their offenses ^H6588 I dealt ^H6213 with them, and I hid ^H5641 My face ^H6440 from them.”’”

Israel Restored

25 Therefore ^H3651 this ^H3541 is ^H3541 what ^H3541 the Lord ^H136 GOD ^H3068 says ^H559: “Now ^H6258 I will restore ^H7725 the fortunes ^H7622 of Jacob ^H3290 and have ^H7355 mercy ^H7355 on ^H7355 all ^H3605 the house ^H1004 of Israel ^H3478; and I will be ^H7065 jealous ^H7065 for My holy ^H6944 name ^H8034.

26 They will [fn]forget ^H5375 their disgrace ^H3639 and all ^H3605 their [fn]treachery ^H4604 which ^H834 they perpetrated ^H4603 against Me, when they live ^H3427 securely ^H983 on their own land ^H127 with no ^H369 one ^H369 to make ^H2729 them afraid ^H2729. 27 When I bring ^H7725 them back ^H7725 from the peoples ^H5971 and gather ^H6908 them from the lands ^H776 of their enemies ^H340, then I shall show ^H6942 Myself holy ^H6942 [fn]through them in the sight ^H5869 of the many ^H7227 nations ^H1471. 28 Then they will know ^H3045 that I am the LORD ^H3068 their God ^H430 because I made them go ^H1540 into ^H1540 exile ^H1540 among ^H413 the nations ^H1471, and then I gathered ^H3664 them again to their own land ^H127; and I will leave ^H3498 none ^H3808 of them there ^H8033 any ^H5750 longer ^H5750. 29 I will not hide ^H5641 My face ^H6440 from them any ^H5750 longer ^H5750, for I will have poured ^H8210 out ^H8210 My Spirit ^H7307 on the house ^H1004 of Israel ^H3478,” declares ^H5002 the Lord ^H136 GOD ^H3068.
