2 Before ^H2962 the decree ^H2706 [fn]takes ^H3205 effect ^H3205—

The day ^H3117 passes ^H5674 like chaff ^H4671—

Before ^H2962 H3808 the burning ^H2740 anger ^H639 of the LORD ^H3068 comes ^H935 upon you,

Before ^H2962 H3808 the day ^H3117 of the LORD’S ^H3068 anger ^H639 comes ^H935 upon you.

3 Seek ^H1245 the LORD ^H3068,

All ^H3605 you humble ^H6035 of the [fn]earth ^H776

Who ^H834 have practiced ^H6466 His [fn]ordinances ^H4941;

Seek ^H1245 righteousness ^H6664, seek ^H1245 humility ^H6038.

Perhaps ^H194 you will remain ^H5641 hidden ^H5641

4 For Gaza ^H5804 will be abandoned ^H5800,

And Ekron ^H6138 will be uprooted ^H6131.

5 Woe ^H1945 to the inhabitants ^H3427 of the seacoast ^H3220 H2256,

The nation ^H1471 of the [fn]Cherethites ^H3774!

The word ^H1697 of the LORD ^H3068 is against ^H5921 you,

Canaan ^H3667, land ^H776 of the Philistines ^H6430;

And I will eliminate ^H6 you

“Moab ^H4124 will assuredly ^H3588 be like Sodom ^H5467,
