Bernice, or Berenice:
(bringing victory) the eldest daughter of Herod Agrippa I (Acts 12:1 etc.) She was first married to her uncle Herod, king of Chaleis, and after his death (A.D. 48) she lived under circumstances of great suspicion with her own brother, Agrippa II., in connection with whom she is mentioned (Acts 25:13; 25:23; 26:30) as having visited Festus on his appointment as procurator of Judea.
The Blue Letter Bible ministry and the BLB Institute hold to the historical, conservative Christian faith, which includes a firm belief in the inerrancy of Scripture. Since the text and audio content provided by BLB represent a range of evangelical traditions, all of the ideas and principles conveyed in the resource materials are not necessarily affirmed, in total, by this ministry.
