"But from there you will seek the LORD your God, and you will find [Him] if you search for Him with all your heart and all your soul.
'Then you will call upon Me and come and pray to Me, and I will listen to you.
'And you will seek Me and find [Me] when you search for Me with all your heart.
'Call to Me and I will answer you, and I will tell you great and mighty things, which you do not know.'
For this reason I bend my knees before the Father,
from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name,
that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power through His Spirit in the inner self,
so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; [and] that you, being rooted and grounded in love,
may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and height and depth,
and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled to all the fullness of God.
Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us,
to Him [be] the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen.
Seek the LORD while He may be found; Call upon Him while He is near.
Therefore, if you have been raised with Christ, keep seeking the things [that are] above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God.
"Behold, I am sending My messenger, and he will clear a way before Me. And the Lord, whom you are seeking, will suddenly come to His temple; and the messenger of the covenant, in whom you delight, behold, He is coming," says the LORD of armies.
but sanctify Christ as Lord in your hearts, always [being] ready to make a defense to everyone who asks you to give an account for the hope that is in you, but with gentleness and respect;
and keep a good conscience so that in the thing in which you are slandered, those who disparage your good behavior in Christ will be put to shame.
And those who know Your name will put their trust in You, For You, LORD, have not abandoned those who seek You.
Show Your wonderful faithfulness, Savior of those who take refuge at Your right hand From those who rise up [against them.]
The afflicted will eat and be satisfied; Those who seek Him will praise the LORD. May your heart live forever!
This is the generation of those who seek Him, Who seek Your face--[even] Jacob. Selah
One thing I have asked from the LORD, that I shall seek: That I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, To behold the beauty of the LORD And to meditate in His temple.
[When You said,] "Seek My face," my heart said to You, "I shall seek Your face, LORD."
May all who seek You rejoice and be glad in You; May those who love Your salvation continually say, "The LORD be exalted!"
A Psalm of David, when he was in the wilderness of Judah. God, You are my God; I shall be watching for You; My soul thirsts for You, my flesh yearns for You, In a dry and exhausted land where there is no water.
The humble have seen [it and] are glad; You who seek God, let your heart revive.
May all who seek You rejoice and be glad in You; And may those who love Your salvation say continually, "May God be exalted!"
Seek the LORD and His strength; Seek His face continually.
Let the word of Christ richly dwell within you, with all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another with psalms, hymns, [and] spiritual songs, singing with thankfulness in your hearts to God.
For this reason we also constantly thank God that when you received the word of God which you heard from us, you accepted [it] not [as] the word of [mere] men, but as what it really is, the word of God, which also is at work in you who believe.
You, however, continue in the things you have learned and become convinced of, knowing from whom you have learned [them,]
and that from childhood you have known the sacred writings which are able to give you the wisdom that leads to salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
All Scripture is inspired by God and beneficial for teaching, for rebuke, for correction, for training in righteousness;
so that the man [or woman] of God may be fully capable, equipped for every good work.
Recognizing the value of consistent reflection upon the Word of God in order to refocus one's mind and heart upon Christ and His Gospel of peace, we provide several reading plans designed to cover the entire Bible in a year.
The Blue Letter Bible ministry and the BLB Institute hold to the historical,
conservative Christian faith, which includes a firm belief in the inerrancy
of Scripture. Since the text and audio content provided by BLB represent a
range of evangelical traditions, all of the ideas and principles conveyed
in the resource materials are not necessarily affirmed, in total, by this ministry.
