فَسَقَطَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ عَلَى وَجْهِهِ وَضَحِكَ، وَقَالَ فِي قَلْبِهِ: «هَلْ يُولَدُ لابْنِ مِئَةِ سَنَةٍ؟ وَهَلْ تَلِدُ سَارَةُ وَهِيَ بِنْتُ تِسْعِينَ سَنَةً؟».

فَانْطَرَحَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ عَلَى وَجْهِهِ وَضَحِكَ قَائِلاً فِي نَفْسِهِ: «أَيُوْلَدُ ابْنٌ لِمَنْ بَلَغَ الْمِئَةَ مِنْ عُمْرِهِ؟ وَهَلْ تُنْجِبُ سَارَةُ وَهِيَ فِي التِّسْعِينَ مِنْ عُمْرِهَا؟»
