وَقَالَتْ لأَبِيهَا: «لاَ يَغْتَظْ سَيِّدِي أَنِّي لاَ أَسْتَطِيعُ أَنْ أَقُومَ أَمَامَكَ لأَنَّ عَلَيَّ عَادَةَ النِّسَاءِ». فَفَتَّشَ وَلَمْ يَجِدِ الأَصْنَامَ.

وَقَالَتْ لأَبِيهَا «لا يُسِئْكَ يَا سَيِّدِي عَدَمُ اسْتِطَاعَتِي الْوُقُوفَ أَمَامَكَ لأَنَّ عَادَةَ النِّسَاءِ قَدْ عَرَضَتْ لِي». وَعِنْدَمَا بَحَثَ لابَانُ وَلَمْ يَجِدْ شَيْئاً
