فَعَلِمَ أُونَانُ أَنَّ النَّسْلَ لاَ يَكُونُ لَهُ، فَكَانَ إِذْ دَخَلَ عَلَى امْرَأَةِ أَخِيهِ أَنَّهُ أَفْسَدَ عَلَى الأَرْضِ، لِكَيْ لاَ يُعْطِيَ نَسْلاً لأَخِيهِ.

وَعَرَفَ أُونَانُ أَنَّ النَّسْلَ لَا يَكُونُ لَهُ، فَكَانَ كُلَّمَا عَاشَرَ امْرَأَةَ أَخِيهِ يُفْسِدُ عَلَى الأَرْضِ، كَيْ لا يُقِيمَ لأَخِيهِ نَسْلاً.
