وَأَرْسَلَ لأَبِيهِ هكَذَا: عَشَرَةَ حَمِيرٍ حَامِلَةً مِنْ خَيْرَاتِ مِصْرَ، وَعَشَرَ أُتُنٍ حَامِلَةً حِنْطَةً، وَخُبْزًا وَطَعَامًا لأَبِيهِ لأَجْلِ الطَّرِيقِ.
