Absalom didn’t say anything to Amnon, either good or bad, because he hated Amnon since he disgraced his sister Tamar.
وَلَمْ يُكَلِّمْ أَبْشَالُومُ أَمْنُونَ بِشَرّ وَلاَ بِخَيْرٍ، لأَنَّ أَبْشَالُومَ أَبْغَضَ أَمْنُونَ مِنْ أَجْلِ أَنَّهُ أَذَلَّ ثَامَارَ أُخْتَهُ.
