وَلَمَّا نَظَرَ يُوسُفُ إِخْوَتَهُ عَرَفَهُمْ، فَتَنَكَّرَ لَهُمْ وَتَكَلَّمَ مَعَهُمْ بِجَفَاءٍ، وَقَالَ لَهُمْ: «مِنْ أَيْنَ جِئْتُمْ؟» فَقَالُوا: «مِنْ أَرْضِ كَنْعَانَ لِنَشْتَرِيَ طَعَامًا».
