وَبَعْدَ انْقِضَاءِ أَرْبَعِ سَنَوَاتٍ قَالَ أَبْشَالُومُ لِلْمَلِكِ: «دَعْنِي أَنْطَلِقُ إِلَى حَبْرُونَ لأُوفِيَ نَذْرِي الَّذِي نَذَرْتُهُ لِلرَّبِّ.
