וַיִּשְׁמַע֩ סַנְבַלַּ֨ט הַחֹרֹנִ֜י וְטֹבִיָּ֣ה הָעֶ֣בֶד הָֽעַמּוֹנִ֗י וְגֶ֨שֶׁם֙ הָֽעַרְבִ֔י וַיַּלְעִ֣גוּ לָ֔נוּ וַיִּבְז֖וּ עָלֵ֑ינוּ וַיֹּאמְר֗וּ מָֽה־הַדָּבָ֤ר הַזֶּה֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר אַתֶּ֣ם עֹשִׂ֔ים הַעַ֥ל הַמֶּ֖לֶךְ אַתֶּ֥ם מֹרְדִֽים׃

καὶ ἤκουσεν Σαναβαλλατ Αρωνι καὶ Τωβια δοῦλος Αμμωνι καὶ Γησαμ Αραβι καὶ ἐξεγέλασαν ἡμᾶς καὶ ἦλθον ἐφἡμᾶς καὶ εἶπαν τί τὸ ῥῆμα τοῦτο ὑμεῖς ποιεῖτε ἐπὶ τὸν βασιλέα ὑμεῖς ἀποστατεῖτε

وَلَمَّا سَمِعَ سَنْبَلَّطُ الْحُورُونِيُّ وَطُوبِيَّا الْعَبْدُ الْعَمُّونِيُّ وَجَشَمٌ الْعَرَبِيُّ هَزَأُوا بِنَا وَاحْتَقَرُونَا، وَقَالُوا: «مَا هذَا الأَمْرُ الَّذِي أَنْتُمْ عَامِلُونَ؟ أَعَلَى الْمَلِكِ تَتَمَرَّدُونَ؟».
