When Elisha became sick with the illness from which he died, King Jehoash of Israel went down and wept over him and said, “My father, my father, the chariots and horsemen of Israel! ”
When Elisha H477 [fn]became H2470 sick H2470 with the illness H2483 of which H834 he was to die H4191, Joash H3060 the king H4428 of Israel H3478 came H3381 down H3381 to him, and wept H1058 over H5921 [fn]him and said H559, “My father H1, my father H1, the chariots H7393 of Israel H3478 and its horsemen H6571!”

وَمَرِضَ أَلِيشَعُ مَرَضَهُ الَّذِي مَاتَ بِهِ، فَنَزَلَ إِلَيْهِ يُوآشُ مَلِكُ إِسْرَائِيلَ، وَبَكَى عَلَى وَجْهِهِ وَقَالَ: «يَا أَبِي، يَا أَبِي، يَا مَرْكَبَةَ إِسْرَائِيلَ وَفُرْسَانَهَا».
