And I will put H5927 sackcloth H8242 around H5921 everyone’s H3605 waist H4975,
And [fn]baldness H7144 on every H3605 head H7218.
And I will make H7760 it like a time of mourning H60 for an only H3173 son H3173,
And the end H319 of it will be like a bitter H4751 day H3117.
“Then I will overturn H2015 your feasts H2282 into mourning H60

And I will bring H5927 up H5927 sackcloth H8242 on everyone’s H3605 loins H4975
And baldness H7144 on every H3605 head H7218.
And I will make H7760 it like a time of mourning H60 for an only H3173 son H3173,
And the end H319 of it will be like a bitter H4751 day H3117.
“And I shall turn your festivals and feasts into mourning
And all your songs into dirges (funeral poems to be sung);
And I shall cause sackcloth to be put on everyone’s [fn]loins
And baldness on every head [shaved for mourning].
And I shall make that time like a time of mourning for an only son [who has died],
And the end of it shall be like a bitter day.
وَأُحَوِّلُ أَعْيَادَكُمْ نَوْحًا، وَجَمِيعَ أَغَانِيكُمْ مَرَاثِيَ، وَأُصْعِدُ عَلَى كُلِّ الأَحْقَاءِ مِسْحًا، وَعَلَى كُلِّ رَأْسٍ قَرَعَةً، وَأَجْعَلُهَا كَمَنَاحَةِ الْوَحِيدِ وَآخِرَهَا يَوْمًا مُرًّا!
