Esau held a grudge against Jacob because of the blessing his father had given him. And Esau determined in his heart, “The days of mourning for my father are approaching; then I will kill my brother Jacob.”
So Esau H6215 held H7852 a H7852 grudge H7852 against H7852 Jacob H3290 because H5921 of the blessing H1293 with which H834 his father H1 had blessed H1288 him; and Esau H6215 said H559 [fn]to himself H3820, “The days H3117 of mourning H60 for my father H1 are near H7126; then I will kill H2026 my brother H251 Jacob H3290.”
So Esau H6215 bore H7852 a H7852 grudge H7852 against H7852 Jacob H3290 because H5921 of the blessing H1293 with which H834 his father H1 had blessed H1288 him; and Esau H6215 said H559 in his heart H3820, “The days H3117 of mourning H60 for my father H1 are near H7126; then I will kill H2026 my brother H251 Jacob H3290.”
So Esau hated Jacob because of the blessing with which his father blessed him; and Esau said in his heart, “The days of mourning for my father are very near; then I will kill my brother Jacob.”
