Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols.

“Nevertheless I have a few things against you, because you allow[fn] that woman[fn] Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess, to teach and seduce[fn] My servants to commit sexual immorality and eat things sacrificed to idols.

“But I have this complaint against you. You are permitting that woman—that Jezebel who calls herself a prophet—to lead my servants astray. She teaches them to commit sexual sin and to eat food offered to idols.

Nevertheless, I have this against you: You tolerate that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophet. By her teaching she misleads my servants into sexual immorality and the eating of food sacrificed to idols.

لكِنْ عِنْدِي عَلَيْكَ قَلِيلٌ: أَنَّكَ تُسَيِّبُ الْمَرْأَةَ إِيزَابَلَ الَّتِي تَقُولُ إِنَّهَا نَبِيَّةٌ، حَتَّى تُعَلِّمَ وَتُغْوِيَ عَبِيدِي أَنْ يَزْنُوا وَيَأْكُلُوا مَا ذُبحَ لِلأَوْثَانِ.

وَلَكِنَّ لِي عَلَيْكَ أَنَّكَ تَتَسَاهَلُ مَعَ هَذِهِ الْمَرْأَةِ إِيزَابِلَ، الَّتِي تَدَّعِي أَنَّهَا نَبِيَّةٌ، فَتُعَلِّمُ عَبِيدِي وَتُغْوِيهِمْ أَنْ يَزْنُوا وَيَأْكُلُوا مِنَ الذَّبَائِحِ الْمُقَدَّمَةِ لِلأَصْنَامِ.
