فَنَظَرَ حَوْلَهُ إِلَيْهِمْ بِغَضَبٍ، حَزِينًا عَلَى غِلاَظَةِ قُلُوبِهِمْ، وَقَالَ لِلرَّجُلِ:«مُدَّ يَدَكَ». فَمَدَّهَا، فَعَادَتْ يَدُهُ صَحِيحَةً كَالأُخْرَى.
