Then Moses asked God, “If I go to the Israelites and say to them, ‘The God of your ancestors has sent me to you,’ and they ask me, ‘What is his name? ’ what should I tell them? ”
Then Moses H4872 said H559 to God H430, “Behold H2009, I am about H935 to come H935 to the sons H1121 of Israel H3478, and I will say H559 to them, ‘The God H430 of your fathers H1 has sent H7971 me to you.’ And they will say H559 to me, ‘What H4100 is His name H8034?’ What H4100 shall I say H559 to them?”
Then Moses said to God, “Behold, when I come to the Israelites and say to them, ‘The God of your fathers (ancestors) has sent me to you,’ and they say to me, ‘What is His name?’ What shall I say to them?”
فَقَالَ مُوسَى ِللهِ: «هَا أَنَا آتِي إِلَى بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ وَأَقُولُ لَهُمْ: إِلهُ آبَائِكُمْ أَرْسَلَنِي إِلَيْكُمْ. فَإِذَا قَالُوا لِي: مَا اسْمُهُ؟ فَمَاذَا أَقُولُ لَهُمْ؟»
