The Israelites struck down the following kings of the land and took possession of their land beyond the Jordan to the east and from the Arnon River to Mount Hermon, including all the Arabah eastward:
Now these H428 are the kings H4428 of the land H776 whom H834 the sons H1121 of Israel H3478 [fn]defeated H5221, and they took possession H3423 of their land H776 beyond H5676 the Jordan H3383 toward the sunrise H4217 H8121, from the Valley H5158 of the Arnon H769 as far H5704 as Mount H2022 Hermon H2768, and all H3605 the Arabah H6160 to the east H4217:

Now these are the kings of the land whom the sons of Israel defeated, and whose land they possessed beyond the Jordan toward the east, from the valley of the [river] Arnon to Mount Hermon, and all the Arabah [plain] to the east:
وَهؤُلاَءِ هُمْ مُلُوكُ الأَرْضِ الَّذِينَ ضَرَبَهُمْ بَنُو إِسْرَائِيلَ وَامْتَلَكُوا أَرْضَهُمْ فِي عَبْرِ الأُرْدُنِّ نَحْوَ شُرُوقِ الشَّمْسِ، مِنْ وَادِي أَرْنُونَ إِلَى جَبَلِ حَرْمُونَ وَكُلِّ الْعَرَبَةِ نَحْوَ الشُّرُوقِ:
