وَالآنَ نَادِ فِي آذَانِ الشَّعْبِ قَائِلاً: مَنْ كَانَ خَائِفًا وَمُرْتَعِدًا فَلْيَرْجعْ وَيَنْصَرِفْ مِنْ جَبَلِ جِلْعَادَ». فَرَجَعَ مِنَ الشَّعْبِ اثْنَانِ وَعِشْرُونَ أَلْفًا. وَبَقِيَ عَشَرَةُ آلاَفٍ.
