فَقَالَ صَمُوئِيلُ: «أَلَمْ تَكُنْ تَحْسَبُ نَفْسَكَ حَقِيراً، وَلَكِنَّ الرَّبَّ جَعَلَكَ عَلَى رَأْسِ أَسْبَاطِ إِسْرَائِيلَ وَأَقَامَكَ مَلِكاً عَلَيْهِمْ،
