When they told Jotham, he climbed to the top of Mount Gerizim, raised his voice, and called to them:
Listen to me, citizens of Shechem,
and may God listen to you:

When they told Jotham, he went and stood at the top of Mount Gerizim and shouted to them, “Hear me, O men of Shechem, so that God may hear you.
وَأَخْبَرُوا يُوثَامَ فَذَهَبَ وَوَقَفَ عَلَى رَأْسِ جَبَلِ جِرِزِّيمَ، وَرَفَعَ صَوْتَهُ وَنَادَى وَقَالَ لَهُمْ: «اِسْمَعُوا لِي يَا أَهْلَ شَكِيمَ، يَسْمَعْ لَكُمُ اللهُ.
