Then the men of Gibeon sent word to Joshua in the camp at Gilgal: “Don’t give up on your servants. Come quickly and save us! Help us, for all the Amorite kings living in the hill country have joined forces against us.”
Then the men H376 of Gibeon H1391 sent H7971 word to Joshua H3091 at the camp H4264 at Gilgal H1537, saying H559, “Do not [fn]abandon H7503 H3027 H4480 your servants H5650; come H5927 up H5927 to us quickly H4120 and save H3467 us and help H5826 us, for all H3605 the kings H4428 of the Amorites H567 that live H3427 in the hill H2022 country H2022 have assembled H6908 against H413 us.”

فَأَرْسَلَ أَهْلُ جِبْعُونَ إِلَى يَشُوعَ إِلَى الْمَحَلَّةِ فِي الْجِلْجَالِ يَقُولُونَ: «لاَ تُرْخِ يَدَيْكَ عَنْ عَبِيدِكَ. اصْعَدْ إِلَيْنَا عَاجِلاً وَخَلِّصْنَا وَأَعِنَّا، لأَنَّهُ قَدِ اجْتَمَعَ عَلَيْنَا جَمِيعُ مُلُوكِ الأَمُورِيِّينَ السَّاكِنِينَ فِي الْجَبَلِ».
