摩西继续在申命记 33:1 开始的祝福诗篇中向以色列人宣告祝福。正如雅各在临终前祝福他的儿子们（创世记 49），摩西作为以色列的领袖，在临终前也向以色列的各支派宣告祝福。从雅各的长子开始，摩西说： “愿流便存活，不死” （第 6 节）。
