摩西因以色列人的拒绝而沮丧，就他与法老有效沟通的能力向耶和华提问。如果以色列都不听他的，耶和华怎么能指望法老听他的呢？耶和华的回应是告诉摩西和亚伦，尽管遭到拒绝，也要坚持。
