Unchecked Copy BoxPsa 64:1 - {To the chief Musician. A Psalm of David.} Hear, O God, my voice in my plaint; preserve my life from fear of the enemy:
Unchecked Copy BoxPsa 64:2 - Hide me from the secret counsel of evil-doers, from the tumultuous crowd of the workers of iniquity,
Unchecked Copy BoxPsa 64:3 - Who have sharpened their tongue like a sword, and have aimed their arrow, a bitter word;
Unchecked Copy BoxPsa 64:4 - That they may shoot in secret at the perfect: suddenly do they shoot at him, and fear not.
Unchecked Copy BoxPsa 64:5 - They encourage themselves in an evil matter, they concert to hide snares; they say, Who will see them?
Unchecked Copy BoxPsa 64:6 - They devise iniquities: We have it ready, the plan is diligently sought out. And each one's inward thought and heart is deep.
Unchecked Copy BoxPsa 64:7 - But God will shoot an arrow at them: suddenly are they wounded;
Unchecked Copy BoxPsa 64:8 - By their own tongue they are made to fall over one another: all that see them shall flee away.
Unchecked Copy BoxPsa 64:9 - And all men shall fear, and shall declare God's doing; and they shall wisely consider his work.

In 1867, John Nelson Darby translated the New Testament from Greek into English. Further revisions were done in 1872 and 1884. Darby’s work was first published as The Holy Scriptures: A New Translation from the Original Languages by J. N. Darby. After Darby’s death in 1882, some of his students worked together to produce the complete Darby Bible based on the Masoretic Hebrew text, Darby’s German (Elberfelder), and the French (Pau) translations. In 1890, the first complete Darby Bible was published in English. This translation of the Bible is in the public domain.
