Abraham's Death

(1Ch 1:32, 33 )
Unchecked Copy BoxGen 25:1 - Avraham took another wife, and her name was Keturah.
Unchecked Copy BoxGen 25:2 - She bore him Zimran, Yokshan, Medan, Midyan, Yishbak, and Shuach.
Unchecked Copy BoxGen 25:3 - Yokshan became the father of Sheva, and Dedan. The sons of Dedan were Ashshurim, Letushim, and Le'ummim.
Unchecked Copy BoxGen 25:4 - The sons of Midyan: `Efah, `Efer, Hanokh, Avida, and Elda`ah. All these were the children of Keturah.
Unchecked Copy BoxGen 25:5 - Avraham gave all that he had to Yitzchak,
Unchecked Copy BoxGen 25:6 - but to the sons of the concubines who Avraham had, Avraham gave gifts. He sent them away from Yitzchak his son, while he yet lived, eastward, to the east country.

Isaac's Sons

Unchecked Copy BoxGen 25:20 - Yitzchak was forty years old when he took Rivka, the daughter of Betu'el the Arammian of Paddan-Aram, the sister of Lavan the Arammian, to be his wife.
Unchecked Copy BoxGen 25:21 - Yitzchak entreated the LORD for his wife, because she was barren. The LORD was entreated by him, and Rivka his wife conceived.
Unchecked Copy BoxGen 25:22 - The children struggled together within her. She said, "If it be so, why do I live?" She went to inquire of the LORD.
Unchecked Copy BoxGen 25:23 - The LORD said to her, Two nations are in your womb, Two peoples will be separated from your body. The one people will be stronger than the other people. The elder will serve the younger.

Unchecked Copy BoxGen 25:26 - After that, his brother came out, and his hand had hold on Esav's heel. He was named Ya`akov. Yitzchak was sixty years old when she bore them.
Unchecked Copy BoxGen 25:27 - The boys grew. Esav was a skillful hunter, a man of the field. Ya`akov was a quiet man, living in tents.
Unchecked Copy BoxGen 25:28 - Now Yitzchak loved Esav, because he ate his venison. Rivka loved Ya`akov.

Unchecked Copy BoxGen 25:30 - Esav said to Ya`akov, "Please feed me with that same red stew, for I am famished." Therefore his name was called Edom.
Unchecked Copy BoxGen 25:31 - Ya`akov said, "First, sell me your birthright."
Unchecked Copy BoxGen 25:32 - Esav said, "Behold, I am about to die. What good is the birthright to me?"
Unchecked Copy BoxGen 25:33 - Ya`akov said, "Swear to me first." He swore to him. He sold his birthright to Ya`akov.
Unchecked Copy BoxGen 25:34 - Ya`akov gave Esav bread and stew of lentils. He ate and drank, rose up, and went his way. So Esav despised his birthright.
