Then the tempter approached him and said, “If you are the Son of God, tell these stones to become bread.”
“Lord,” the centurion replied, “I am not worthy to have you come under my roof. But just say the word, and my servant will be healed.
“If he doesn't pay attention to them, tell the church.[fn] If he doesn't pay attention even to the church, let him be like a Gentile and a tax collector to you.

But Martha was distracted by her many tasks, and she came up and asked, “Lord, don't you care that my sister has left me to serve alone? So tell her to give me a hand.”[fn]
Someone from the crowd said to him, “Teacher, tell my brother to divide the inheritance with me.”
They said, “If you are the Messiah, tell us.”
But he said to them, “If I do tell you, you will not believe.
“Don't cling to me,” Jesus told her, “since I have not yet ascended to the Father. But go to my brothers and tell them that I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.”
