The king H4428 of Assyria H804 and all H3605 his glory H3519;
And it will rise H5927 up H5927 over H5921 all H3605 its channels H650 and go H1980 over H5921 all H3605 its banks H1415.
The [fn]oracle H4853 concerning Egypt H4714.
Behold H2009, Yahweh H3068 is riding H7392 on a swift H7031 cloud H5645 and is about to come H935 to Egypt H4714;
The idols H457 of Egypt H4714 will shake H5128 at His presence H6440,
And the heart H3824 of the Egyptians H4714 will melt H4549 within H7130 them.
For behold H2009, Yahweh H3068 is about to come H3318 out H3318 from His place H4725
To visit H6485 the iniquity H5771 of the inhabitants H3427 of the earth H776;
And the earth H776 will reveal H1540 her bloodshed H1818
And will no H3808 longer H5750 cover H3680 those H2026 of hers who were killed H2026.
Behold H2372 Zion H6726, the city H7151 of our appointed H4150 times H4150;
Your eyes H5869 will see H7200 Jerusalem H3389, an abode H5116 at H7600 ease H7600,
A tent H168 which will not be folded H6813;
Its stakes H3489 will never H1077 H5331 be pulled H5265 up H5265,
Nor H1077 any H3605 of its cords H2256 ever H1077 be torn H5423 apart H5423.
Get H5927 yourself up H5927 on a high H1364 mountain H2022,
O Zion H6726, bearer H1319 of H1319 good H1319 news H1319,
Raise H7311 up H7311 your voice H6963 powerfully H3581,
O Jerusalem H3389, bearer H1319 of H1319 good H1319 news H1319;
Raise H7311 it up H7311, do not fear H3372.
He says H559, “It is too H4480 [fn]small H7043 a H7043 thing H7043 that You should be My Servant H5650
To raise H6965 up H6965 the tribes H7626 of Jacob H3290 and to cause H7725 the preserved H5336 ones of Israel H3478 to return H7725;
I will also give H5414 You as a light H216 [fn]of the nations H1471
So that My salvation H3444 may [fn]reach H1961 to the end H7097 of the earth H776.”
Thus H3541 says H559 Lord H136 Yahweh H3068,
“Behold H2009, I will lift H5375 up H5375 My hand H3027 to the nations H1471
And make high H7311 My standard H5251 to the peoples H5971;
And they will bring H935 your sons H1121 in their bosom H2684,
And your daughters H1323 will be lifted H5375 up H5375 on their shoulders H3802.
Thus H3541 says H559 Yahweh H3068,
“Where H335 is the certificate H5612 of divorce H3748
By which H834 I have sent H7971 your mother H517 away H7971?
Or H176 to which H4310 of My creditors H5383 did I sell H4376 you?
Behold H2005, you were sold H4376 for your iniquities H5771,
And for your transgressions H6588 your mother H517 was sent H7971 away H7971.
“Why H4069 was H369 there H369 no H369 man H376 when I came H935?
When I called H7121, why was H369 there H369 none H369 to answer H6030?
Is My hand H3027 so H4480 short H7114 that H4480 it cannot H4480 ransom H6304?
Or H518 have H369 I no H369 power H3581 to deliver H5337?
Behold H2005, I dry H2717 up H2717 the sea H3220 with My rebuke H1606;
I make H7760 the rivers H5104 a wilderness H4057;
Therefore H3651, thus H3541 says H559 Lord H136 Yahweh H3068,
“Behold H2009, My slaves H5650 will eat H398, but you will be hungry H7456.
Behold H2009, My slaves H5650 will drink H8354, but you will be H6770 thirsty H6770.
Behold H2009, My slaves H5650 will be glad H8055, but you will be put H954 to H954 shame H954.
For thus H3541 says H559 Yahweh H3068, “Behold H2009, I stretch H5186 out H5186 peace H7965 to her like a river H5104,
And the glory H3519 of the nations H1471 like an overflowing H7857 stream H5158;
And you will [fn]be nursed H3243; you will be carried H5375 on the [fn]hip H6654 and played H8173 with H8173 on the knees H1290.
“Behold H2009, I am bringing H935 a nation H1471 against H5921 you from afar H4801, O house H1004 of Israel H3478,” declares H5002 Yahweh H3068.
“It is an enduring H386 nation H1471;
It is an ancient H5769 nation H1471,
A nation H1471 whose tongue H3956 you do not know H3045,
Nor H3808 can you [fn]understand H8085 what H4100 they say H1696.
“Therefore H3651, behold H2009, days H3117 are coming H935,” declares H5002 Yahweh H3068, “when it will no H3808 longer H5750 be called H559 Topheth H8612 or the valley H1516 of the son H1121 of Hinnom H2011, but the valley H1516 of the Slaughter H2028; for they will bury H6912 in Topheth H8612 [fn]because H4480 there H369 is H369 no H369 other place H4725.
Behold H2009, the sound H6963! The cry H7775 of the daughter H1323 of my people H5971 from a distant H4801 land H776:
“Is Yahweh H3068 not in Zion H6726? Is her King H4428 not within her?”
“Why H4069 have they provoked H3707 Me to anger H3707 with their graven H6456 images H6456, with foreign H5236 [fn]idols H1892?”
Thus H3541 says H559 Yahweh H3068 concerning H5921 all H3605 My evil H7451 neighbors H7934 who beat H5060 at the inheritance H5159 with which H834 I have caused H5157 My people H5971 Israel H3478 to H5157 inherit H5157, “Behold H2009, I am about to uproot H5428 them from their land H127 and will uproot H5428 the house H1004 of Judah H3063 from among H8432 them.
‘If H518 I go H3318 out H3318 to the field H7704,
Behold H2009, those [fn]slain H2491 with the sword H2719!
Or if H518 I enter H935 the city H5892,
Behold H2009, diseases H8463 of famine H7458!
For both H1571 prophet H5030 and priest H3548
Have gone around H5503 as merchants H5503 in the land H776 that they do not know H3045.'”
Have You completely H3988 rejected H3988 Judah H3063?
Or H518 [fn]have You loathed H1602 Zion H6726?
Why H4069 have You stricken H5221 us so that there H369 is H369 no H369 healing H4832 for us?
We hoped H6960 for peace H7965, but there H369 was H369 no H369 good H2896;
And for a time H6256 of healing H4832, but behold H2009, terror H1205!
“Behold H2009, I am going to send H7971 for many H7227 fishermen H1728,” declares H5002 Yahweh H3068, “and they will fish H1770 for them; and afterwards H310 H3651 I will send H7971 for many H7227 hunters H6719, and they will hunt H6679 them from every H3605 mountain H2022 and every H3605 hill H1389 and from the crevices H5357 of the rocks H5553.
“Therefore H3651 thus H3541 says H559 Yahweh H3068 of hosts H6635 concerning H5921 the prophets H5030,
‘Behold H2009, I am going to feed H398 them wormwood H3939
And make H8248 them drink H8248 [fn]poisoned H7219 water H4325,
For from the prophets H5030 of Jerusalem H3389
Pollution H2613 has gone H3318 forth H3318 into all H3605 the land H776.'”

“Thus H3541 says H559 Yahweh H3068 of hosts H6635, the God H430 of Israel H3478, concerning H413 Ahab H256 the son H1121 of Kolaiah H6964 and concerning H413 Zedekiah H6667 the son H1121 of Maaseiah H4641, who are prophesying H5012 to you falsely H8267 in My name H8034, ‘Behold H2009, I will give H5414 them into the hand H3027 of Nebuchadnezzar H5019 king H4428 of Babylon H894, and he will strike H5221 them down H5221 before your eyes H5869.
“Thus H3541 says H559 Yahweh H3068,
‘Behold H2009, I will [fn]return H7725 the [fn]fortunes H7622 of the tents H168 of Jacob H3290
And have H7355 compassion H7355 on H7355 his dwelling H4908 places H4908;
And the city H5892 will be rebuilt H1129 on its ruin H8510,
And the palace H759 will sit H3427 on its just H4941 place H4941.
“Behold H2009, I am bringing H935 them from the north H6828 country H776,
And I will gather H6908 them from the remote H3411 parts H3411 of the earth H776,
Among them the blind H5787 and the lame H6455,
The woman H2030 with child H2030 and she who is in H3205 labor H3205 with child, together H3162;
A great H1419 assembly H6951, they will return H7725 here H2008.
“Therefore H3651 thus H3541 says H559 Yahweh H3068, ‘You have not obeyed H8085 Me in proclaiming H7121 [fn]release H1865 each H376 man H376 to his brother H251 and each H376 man H376 to his neighbor H7453. For behold H2009, I am going to save H3467 you from afar H7350,

The great H1419 [fn]monster H8577 that lies H7257 in the midst H8432 of his canals H2975 of the Nile H2975,
That has said H559, ‘My Nile H2975 is mine, and I myself H589 have made H6213 it.'
And behold H2009, there was a wall H2346 on the outside H2351 of the house H1004 of Yahweh all H5439 around H5439, and in the man's H376 hand H3027 was a measuring H4060 rod H7070 of six H8337 cubits H520, each of which was a [fn]cubit H520 and a [fn]handbreadth H2948. And behold H2009, one [fn]in the likeness H1823 of the sons H1121 of men H120 was touching H5060 my lips H8193; then I opened H6605 my mouth H6310 and spoke H1696 and said H559 to him who was standing H5975 before H5048 me, “O my lord H113, as a result of the vision that appeared H4759, pains H6735 have come H2015 upon me, and I have retained H6113 no H3808 might H3581.

Rejoice H1523 greatly H3966, O daughter H1323 of Zion H6726!
Make H7321 a H7321 loud H7321 shout H7321, O daughter H1323 of Jerusalem H3389!
Behold H2009, your king H4428 is coming H935 to you;
He is [fn]righteous H6662 and endowed H3467 with H3467 salvation H3467,
[fn]Lowly H6041 and mounted H7392 on a donkey H2543,
Even on a [fn]colt H5895, the [fn]foal H1121 of a pack H860 animal H860.
“Behold H2009, I am going to send H7971 My [fn]messenger H4397, and he will [fn]prepare H6437 the way H1870 before H6440 Me. And the Lord H113, whom H834 you seek H1245, will suddenly H6597 come H935 to His temple H1964; [fn]and the [fn]messenger H4397 of the covenant H1285, in whom H834 you delight H2655, behold H2009, He is coming H935,” says H559 Yahweh H3068 of hosts H6635.
“[fn]For behold H2009, the day H3117 is coming H935, burning H1197 like a furnace H8574; and all H3605 the arrogant H2086 and every H3605 worker H6213 of wickedness H7564 will be chaff H7179; and the day H3117 that is coming H935 will set H3857 them aflame H3857,” says H559 Yahweh H3068 of hosts H6635, “so H834 that H834 it will leave H5800 them neither H3808 root H8328 nor H3808 branch H6057.”
