STRONGS H3926:
לְמוֺ in poetry for לְ (see מוֺ below) Job 27:14; 29:21; 38:40; 40:4.

לְמוֺ in poetry for לְ, Job 27:14; 29:21; 38:40; 40:4, like כְּמוֺ for כְּ, בְמוֺ for ׃בְּ see מוֺ below.

מוֺ a paragogic syllable, attached to בְּ, ךְּ, לְ (q.v.), so as to form with them independent words, בְּמֹו, כְּמֹו, למֹו (q.v.) These forms, except sometimes כְּמֹו are exclusively poetical. In origin מֹו is identical with מָה what, Arabic مَا, which is used similarly, pleonastically, with certain prefixes, e.g. بِمَا, كَمَا, عَمَّا. See Qor 3153; 7125; Fl Kl. Schr. i. 473 f., 479, 558; WAG ii. § 70, Rem. f; SG 126f.; Kö ii. 250 f.; and compare Ethiopic ከመ፡, Syriac axmkAf, Sab. בנמו = مِمَّا, DHMZDMG 1883, 396 f., HomChrest. § 18.
