I Am the Way, the Truth, and the Life

1 “Do not let your heart ^G2588 be troubled ^G5015; [fn]believe ^G4100 in God ^G2316, believe ^G4100 also ^G2532 in Me.

2 In My Father’s ^G3962 house ^G3614 are many ^G4183 dwelling ^G3438 places ^G3438; if ^G1487 it were not so, I would have told ^G3004 you; for I go ^G4198 to prepare ^G2090 a place ^G5117 for you. 3 And if ^G1437 I go ^G4198 and prepare ^G2090 a place ^G5117 for you, I will come ^G2064 again ^G3825 and receive ^G3880 you to Myself ^G1683, that where ^G3699 I am ^G1510, there you may be also ^G2532. 4 And you know ^G6063 the way ^G3598 where ^G3699 I am going ^G5217.” 5 Thomas ^G2381 *said ^G3004 to Him, “Lord ^G2962, we do not know ^G6063 where ^G4226 You are going ^G5217. Oneness with the Father

Jesus Promises the Holy Spirit

16 And I will ask ^G2065 the Father ^G3962, and He will give ^G1325 you another ^G243 [fn]Advocate ^G3875, that He may be with you forever ^G165; 17 the Spirit ^G4151 of truth ^G225, whom ^G3739 the world ^G2889 cannot ^G1410 G3756 receive ^G2983, because ^G3754 it does not see ^G2334 Him or ^G3761 know ^G1097 Him.
