"For My people have committed two evils: They have abandoned Me, The fountain of living waters, To carve out for themselves cisterns, Broken cisterns That do not hold water.

"Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, And whose trust is the LORD.

"For he will be like a tree planted by the water That extends its roots by a stream, And does not fear when the heat comes; But its leaves will be green, And it will not be anxious in a year of drought, Nor cease to yield fruit.

LORD, the hope of Israel, All who abandon You will be put to shame. Those who turn away on earth will be written down, Because they have forsaken the fountain of living water, [that is] the LORD.

"They will come and shout for joy on the height of Zion, And they will be radiant over the bounty of the LORD-- Over the grain, the new wine, the oil, And over the young of the flock and the herd. And their life will be like a watered garden, And they will never languish again.

"Return, you faithless sons, I will heal your faithlessness." "Behold, we come to You; For You are the LORD our God.

Heal me, LORD, and I will be healed; Save me and I will be saved, For You are my praise.

'For I will restore you to health And I will heal you of your wounds,' declares the LORD, 'Because they have called you an outcast, saying: "It is Zion; no one cares for her."'

'Behold, I am going to bring to it healing and a remedy, and I will heal them; and I will reveal to them an abundance of peace and truth.

Jesus replied to her, "If you knew the gift of God, and who it is who is saying to you, 'Give Me a drink,' you would have asked Him, and He would have given you living water."

She said to Him, "Sir, You have no bucket and the well is deep; where then do You get [this] living water?

"The one who believes in Me, as the Scripture said, 'From his innermost being will flow rivers of living water.'"

And on that day living waters will flow out of Jerusalem, half of them toward the eastern sea and the other half toward the western sea; it will be in summer as well as in winter.

You visit the earth and cause it to overflow; You greatly enrich it; The stream of God is full of water; You prepare their grain, for so You prepare the earth.

They drink their fill of the abundance of Your house; And You allow them to drink [from] the river of Your delights.

There is a river whose streams make the city of God happy, The holy dwelling places of the Most High.

He turned the sea into dry land; They passed through the river on foot; Let's rejoice there, in Him!

He opened the rock and water flowed out; It ran in the dry places [like] a river.

I will wash my hands in innocence, And I will go around Your altar, LORD,

Wash me thoroughly from my guilt And cleanse me from my sin.

As for me, I said, "LORD, be gracious to me; Heal my soul, for I have sinned against You."

We who had sweet fellowship together, Walked in the house of God among the commotion.

You have made the land quake, You have split it open; Heal its cracks, for it sways.

They were continually devoting themselves to the apostles' teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.

So they will fear the name of the LORD from the west And His glory from the rising of the sun, For He will come like a rushing stream Which the wind of the LORD drives.

For this is what the LORD says: "Behold, I extend peace to her like a river, And the glory of the nations like an overflowing stream; And you will be nursed, you will be carried on the hip and rocked back and forth on the knees.

"If only you had paid attention to My commandments! Then your well-being would have been like a river, And your righteousness like the waves of the sea.

"And the LORD will continually guide you, And satisfy your desire in scorched places, And give strength to your bones; And you will be like a watered garden, And like a spring of water whose waters do not fail.

"Behold, I am going to do something new, Now it will spring up; Will you not be aware of it? I will even make a roadway in the wilderness, Rivers in the desert.

"Wash yourselves, make yourselves clean; Remove the evil of your deeds from My sight. Stop doing evil,

Creating the praise of the lips. Peace, peace to him who is far away and to him who is near," Says the LORD, "and I will heal him."

"But let justice roll out like waters, And righteousness like an ever-flowing stream.

The declaration of him who hears the words of God, Who sees the vision of the Almighty, Falling down, yet having his eyes uncovered,

How pleasant are your tents, Jacob, Your dwelling places, Israel!

"Like valleys that stretch out, Like gardens beside a river, Like aloes planted by the LORD, Like cedars beside the waters.

"Water will flow from his buckets, And his seed [will be] by many waters, And his king shall be higher than Agag, And his kingdom shall be exalted.

Then he brought me back to the door of the house; and behold, water was flowing from under the threshold of the house toward the east, for the house faced east. And the water was flowing down from under, from the right side of the house, from south of the altar.

And he brought me out by way of the north gate and led me around on the outside to the outer gate, by the way facing east. And behold, water was spurting out from the south side.

When the man went out toward the east with a line in his hand, he measured a thousand cubits, and he led me through the water, water [reaching] the ankles.

Again he measured a thousand and led me through the water, water [reaching] the knees. Again he measured a thousand and led me through [the water,] water [reaching] the hips.

Again he measured a thousand; [and it was] a river that I could not wade across, because the water had risen, [enough] water to swim in, a river that could not be crossed [by wading.]

And he said to me, "Son of man, have you seen [this?]" Then he brought me back to the bank of the river.

Now when I had returned, behold, on the bank of the river [there were] very many trees on the one side and on the other.

Then he said to me, "These waters go out toward the eastern region and go down into the Arabah; then they go toward the sea, being made to flow into the sea, and the waters [of the sea] become fresh.

"And it will come about that every living creature which swarms in every place where the river goes, will live. And there will be very many fish, for these waters go there and [the others] become fresh; so everything will live where the river goes.

"And it will come about that fishermen will stand beside it; from Engedi to Eneglaim there will be a place for the spreading of nets. Their fish will be according to their kinds, like the fish of the Great Sea, very many.

"But its swamps and marshes will not become fresh; they will be left for salt.

"And by the river on its bank, on one side and on the other, will grow all [kinds of] trees for food. Their leaves will not wither and their fruit will not fail. They will bear fruit every month because their water flows from the sanctuary, and their fruit will be for food and their leaves for healing."

and they were being baptized by him in the Jordan River, as they confessed their sins.

"Heal [the] sick, raise [the] dead, cleanse those with leprosy, cast out demons. Freely you received, freely give.

"For where two or three have gathered together in My name, I am there in their midst."

I planted, Apollos watered, but God was causing the growth.

Since there is one loaf, we who are many are one body; for we all partake of the one loaf.

For just as the body is one and [yet] has many parts, and all the parts of the body, though they are many, are one body, so also is Christ.

For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body, whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free, and we were all made to drink of one Spirit.

For the body is not one part, but many.

But now there are many parts, but one body.

Now you are Christ's body, and individually parts of it.

God is faithful, through whom you were called into fellowship with His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.

There is an appointed time for everything. And there is a time for every matter under heaven--

"Be strong and courageous, do not be afraid or in dread of them, for the LORD your God is the One who is going with you. He will not desert you or abandon you."

Every good thing given and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shifting shadow.

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and pleading with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.

And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

Therefore we do not lose heart, but though our outer person is decaying, yet our inner [person] is being renewed day by day.

For indeed He was crucified because of weakness, yet He lives because of the power of God. For we too are weak in Him, yet we will live with Him because of the power of God [directed] toward you.

I recall this to my mind, Therefore I wait.

The LORD'S acts of mercy indeed do not end, For His compassions do not fail.

[They] are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness.

what we have seen and heard we proclaim to you also, so that you too may have fellowship with us; and indeed our fellowship is with the Father, and with His Son Jesus Christ.

If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous, so that He will forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

But avoid foolish controversies and genealogies and strife and disputes about the Law, for they are useless and worthless.

I will heal their apostasy, I will love them freely, Because My anger has turned away from them.

And Elisha sent a messenger to him, saying, "Go and wash in the Jordan seven times, and your flesh will be restored to you and [you will] be clean."

Who is a God like You, who pardons wrongdoing And passes over a rebellious act of the remnant of His possession? He does not retain His anger forever, Because He delights in mercy.

He will again take pity on us; He will trample on our wrongdoings. Yes, You will cast all their sins Into the depths of the sea.

You will give truth to Jacob [And] favor to Abraham, Which You swore to our forefathers From the days of old.

which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all.

Therefore, ridding yourselves of falsehood, SPEAK TRUTH EACH ONE [OF YOU] WITH HIS NEIGHBOR, because we are parts of one another.

For just as we have many parts in one body and all the body's parts do not have the same function,

so we, who are many, are one body in Christ, and individually parts of one another.

However, since we have gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, [each of us is to use them properly:] if prophecy, in proportion to [one's] faith;

if service, in the [act of] serving; or the one who teaches, in the [act of] teaching;

or the one who exhorts, in the [work of] exhortation; the one who gives, with generosity; the one who is in leadership, with diligence; the one who shows mercy, with cheerfulness.

Love [must be] free of hypocrisy. Detest what is evil; cling to what is good.

[Be] devoted to one another in brotherly love; give preference to one another in honor,

not lagging behind in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord;

rejoicing in hope, persevering in tribulation, devoted to prayer,

contributing to the needs of the saints, practicing hospitality.

Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse.

Rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep.

Be of the same mind toward one another; do not be haughty in mind, but associate with the lowly. Do not be wise in your own estimation.

Never repay evil for evil to anyone. Respect what is right in the sight of all people.

If possible, so far as it depends on you, be at peace with all people.

For I long to see you so that I may impart some spiritual gift to you, that you may be established;

that is, that I may be encouraged together with you [while] among you, each of us by the other's faith, both yours and mine.

Faithful are the wounds of a friend, But deceitful are the kisses of an enemy.

Do not abandon your friend or your father's friend, And do not go to your brother's house on the day of your disaster; Better is a neighbor who is near than a brother far away.

[As] iron sharpens iron, So one person sharpens another.

A friend loves at all times, And a brother is born for adversity.
