Oh, that Jacob may stand,
For he is small!”

Then I said, “O Sovereign LORD, please stop or we will not survive, for Israel is so small.”

Then I cried out, “Sovereign LORD, I beg you, stop! How can Jacob survive? He is so small!”

“O Lord GOD, please cease!
How can Jacob stand?
He is so small!”

Then I said, “Lord GOD, please stop! How will Jacob survive since he is so small? ”

“Lord GOD, please stop!

How can Jacob stand?

For he is small.”

How can Jacob stand, for he is small?”

“Lord Yahweh, please stop!

عِنْدَئِذٍ قُلْتُ: «أَيُّهَا السَّيِّدُ الرَّبُّ، كُفَّ عَنْ هَذَا، إِذْ كَيْفَ يُمْكِنُ لِيَعْقُوبَ أَنْ يَنْهَضَ، فَإِنَّهُ صَغِيرٌ؟»

וָאֹמַ֗ר אֲדֹנָ֤י יְהוִה֙ חֲדַל־נָ֔א מִ֥י יָק֖וּם יַעֲקֹ֑ב כִּ֥י קָטֹ֖ן הֽוּא׃

καὶ εἶπα κύριε κύριε κόπασον δή τίς ἀναστήσει τὸν Ιακωβ ὅτι ὀλιγοστός ἐστιν

فَقُلْتُ: «أَيُّهَا السَّيِّدُ الرَّبُّ، كُفَّ! كَيْفَ يَقُومُ يَعْقُوبُ؟ فَإِنَّهُ صَغِيرٌ!».

Then I said, O Lord, cease, I pray thee: who shall raise up Jacob? for he is small in number. Repent, O Lord, for this.
