لأَنَّهُ لاَقَ بِذَاكَ الَّذِي مِنْ أَجْلِهِ الْكُلُّ وَبِهِ الْكُلُّ، وَهُوَ آتٍ بِأَبْنَاءٍ كَثِيرِينَ إِلَى الْمَجْدِ، أَنْ يُكَمِّلَ رَئِيسَ خَلاَصِهِمْ بِالآلاَمِ.

فَلَمَّا قَصَدَ اللهُ، الَّذِي مِنْ أَجْلِهِ كُلُّ شَيْءٍ وَبِهِ كُلُّ شَيْءٍ، أَنْ يُحْضِرَ إِلَى الْمَجْدِ أَبْنَاءً كَثِيرِينَ، كَانَ مِنَ اللّائِقِ أَنْ يَجْعَلَ قَائِدَهُمْ إِلَى الْخَلاصِ مُؤَهَّلاً عَنْ طَرِيقِ الآلامِ.
