αὐτῶν ἐλθόντων εἰς τὴν Σιφ καὶ Σαουλ εἶπεν τῷ παιδαρίῳ αὐτοῦ τῷ μετ᾽ αὐτοῦ δεῦρο καὶ ἀναστρέψωμεν μὴ ἀνεὶς πατήρ μου τὰς ὄνους φροντίζῃ περὶ ἡμῶν

وَلَمَّا دَخَلاَ أَرْضَ صُوفٍ قَالَ شَاوُلُ لِغُلاَمِهِ الَّذِي مَعَهُ: «تَعَالَ نَرْجعْ لِئَلاَّ يَتْرُكَ أَبِي الأُتُنَ وَيَهْتَمَّ بِنَا».

وَعِنْدَمَا بَلَغَا أَرْضَ صُوفٍ قَالَ شَاوُلُ لِرَفِيقِهِ الْغُلامِ: «تَعَالَ نَرْجِعُ لِئَلّا يَقْلَقَ أَبِي عَلَيْنَا أَكْثَرَ مِنْ قَلَقِهِ عَلَى الْحَمِيرِ».
