Exodus 21:22 - إِنْ تَضَارَبَ رِجَالٌ وَصَدَمُوا امْرَأَةً حَامِلاً فَأَجْهَضَتْ مِنْ غَيْرِ أَنْ تَتَأَذَّى، يَدْفَعُ الصَّادِمُ غَرَامَةً بِمُقْتَضَى مَا يُطَالِبُ بِهِ الزَّوْجُ وَوَفْقاً لِقَرَارِ الْقُضَاةِ.

“When men get in a fight and hit a pregnant woman so that her children are born prematurely but there is no injury, the one who hit her must be fined as the woman’s husband demands from him, and he must pay according to judicial assessment.
“Now if H3588 people H376 struggle H5327 with each other and strike H5062 a pregnant H2030 woman H802 so that [fn]she gives H3205 birth H3205 prematurely H3318, but there is no H3808 injury H611, the guilty person shall certainly H6064 be fined H6064 as the woman’s H802 husband H1167 [fn]may demand H7896 of him, and he shall pay H5414 [fn]as the judges H6414 decide.
“And if H3588 men H376 struggle H5327 with each other and [fn]strike H5062 a woman H802 with child H2030 so that [fn]she gives H3205 birth H3205 prematurely H3318, yet there is no H3808 injury H611, he shall surely H6064 be fined H6064 as the woman’s H802 husband H1167 [fn]will set H7896 for him, and he shall pay H5414 [fn]as the judges H6414 decide.
“If men fight with each other and injure a pregnant woman so that she gives birth prematurely [and the baby lives], yet there is no further injury, the one who hurt her must be punished with a fine [paid] to the woman’s husband, as much as the judges decide.
وَإِذَا تَخَاصَمَ رِجَالٌ وَصَدَمُوا امْرَأَةً حُبْلَى فَسَقَطَ وَلَدُهَا وَلَمْ تَحْصُلْ أَذِيَّةٌ، يُغَرَّمُ كَمَا يَضَعُ عَلَيْهِ زَوْجُ الْمَرْأَةِ، وَيَدْفَعُ عَنْ يَدِ الْقُضَاةِ.
