About three months later Judah was told, “Your daughter-in-law, Tamar, has been acting like a prostitute, and now she is pregnant.”
“Bring her out,” Judah said, “and let her be burned to death! ”
Now it was about three H7969 months H2320 later H4480 that Judah H3063 was [fn]informed H5046, “Your daughter-in-law H3618 Tamar H8559 has prostituted H2181 herself, and behold H2009, she is also H1571 pregnant H2030 by prostitution H2183.” Then Judah H3063 said H559, “Bring H3318 her out H3318 and have her burned H8313!”
Now it happened about three H7969 months H2320 later H4480 that it was told H5046 to Judah H3063 saying H559, “Your daughter-in-law H3618 Tamar H8559 has played H2181 the H2181 harlot H2181, and behold H2009, she is also H1571 with child H2030 by harlotry H2183.” Then Judah H3063 said H559, “Bring H3318 her out H3318 and let her be burned H8313!”
About three months later Judah was told, “Tamar your daughter-in-law has played the [role of a] prostitute, and she is with child because of her immorality.” So Judah said, “Bring her out and let her be burned [to death as punishment]!”
