وَهَكَذَا بَعْدَ إِقَامَةِ عَشْرِ سَنَوَاتٍ فِي أَرْضِ كَنْعَانَ، أَخَذَتْ سَارَايُ جَارِيَتَهَا الْمِصْرِيَّةَ هَاجَرَ وَأَعْطَتْهَا لِرَجُلِهَا أَبْرَامَ لِتَكُونَ زَوْجَةً لَهُ.
